After scouring all 3 of Speedy's ads for 6-5-07 I've concluded that there is either a vast right (or left) wing conspiracy not to sell Mission Impossible TV Season Sets. I remember from Season One that no one advertised it. In fact of all the B&M stores I frequent I didn't see it the week of release in any store and I haven't seen it at one since. Thank God for Amazon & DDD or you wouldn't be able to buy a set. I'm glad I know not to cancel my Amazon order again for Season two. I really wonder why Paramount doesn't have these sets widely advertised. Don't they realize what a gem this show was & how many more baby boomers who grew up with it would buy it if they only knew it had been produced? Well, end of rant. I just don't understand it.

I hear real good things about the JVC.
Thanks for the JVC info....although, that price is ALWAYS $1999....that tricky Best Buy! (at least it is this week....and it's NOT a sale price)

A loooooooong time ago (when I had hair) , I bought a JVC TV for my Mother.

It's still kicking ass to this day. And my mother won't let me get her a newer TV.

Hmmm...not a terribly impressive DVD list imho. Maybe i'll pick up Casino Royale. Need to keep the Bond collection up to date.

Sony has nothing to do with the Leone box. FOX releases MGM's catalog now. They would be the stingy ones in this case.

So they decided to feature all the Eddie Murphies titles but the good two coming out this week on DVD? Way to go Best Buy. Who cares about Coming to America and Trading Places.

Glad I waited to get Season 7 of "Seinfeld" until it went el' cheapo. I don't even mind buying it online, & paying $2 s/h...since the nearest BB is 10-15 miles away.

they should be on pack since they're being advertised at other stores as well (e.g. Circuit City) so you won't be able to "take" them like you did with the Pirates' tickets.

Getting FF:Extended as well!

And shame on those who are looking to "steal" the FF2 tickets.

2 for $20 DVDs, Plus Free $5 Gift Card

Best Buy's best sale this week isn't advertised in their ad:

2 for $20 DVDs, Plus Free $5 Gift Card

Which means you're basically paying $7.50 each for titles including these:

Big Extended Edition
That Thing You Do Director's Cut
Transporter 2
Thank You for Smoking
Napoleon Dynamite
Sentinel
Road House
Fight Club
Porky's
Dodgeball Unrated
Date Movie
Office Space
Hills Have Eyes
Kingdom of Heaven
Full Monty
There's Something About Mary
Flyboys
Revenge of the Nerds
Donnie Darko regular or SE

Looks like in most cases they have both original standard editions and special editions of the same title available for the same price, so be careful you pick the better one when ordering.

I haven't tried ordering yet to see if you can do in-store pickup on the DVDs and just get the gift card in the mail. They say the gift card will be mailed separately so I don't see why not.

The full list of $12.99ers is also here:

$12.99 After Savings
