I'm actually talking on the phone with a guy, he's trying to figure out what to do, he's freaking out because of the price change its hilarious. I just said "the site im looking looking at says 34.98..".

He just said that it was an error and that it was just fixed.

So maybe you guys can have some luck.

It is backordered till june.

Most of the DVDs in this set are single layer sized - I wonder if A&E will reformat this to an even smaller size. They could easily fit it on eight or nine disks - with slim double cases this thing could be 1/7th the size it originally was.

I called their customer service, as the price changed in my cart when I was checking out. The customer service rep mentioned that $34.98 was a pricing error, but she gave me that price anyways. Though it is now backordered till early June, I can wait. Big props to A&E Home Video.

And the price is back down to $34.98. I ordered a set for myself, since I've been meaning to pick this up for a long time.

Thanks op!

It's tempting to replace all my old sets with this but I don't know if it's worth the bother. I would rather have an HD with all the eps on one disc.

Using the 5 off of 50 coupon, I was able to pick this up along with the 5th set of The Prisoner for $50.96. Thanks OP!

Got in on this in the AM at the $35 price point. Thanks, OP!

NoirFan, wish I had saw The Prisoner set when I ordered...

(Nevermind, I just searched for the Prisoner set and saw it was still $100. Wish this would go on sale sometime!)

Try canceling your order, or give them a call- apparantly A&E have friendly sales reps. Set 5 is the only one on sale, though.

I managed to sell my old "jumbo" case set for $51 store credit at a local used dvd store. Placed my order for this shortly after. Made $15 (i would have spent the money there anyway) and saved myself a bunch of space on my shelves! Thanks OP and thanks A & E. 2 big, great deals in as many months! (see homicide set...)

Lol, I guess someone on SD complained that it wasn't really 50% off anymore, so now it's back to $34.99, and someone on SD(props to TheBishoff) found a 10% off coupon..so it's now ****32.48****(...and it looks like it might stack with the FW cashback).

10% off coupon:

Wow, thanks a lot.
35.07 with shipping and taxes!

Even though I don't really like this show, that price was just too good to pass up and I'm sure I could sell it as used after I've seen everything for that price. Good stuff.

Thank you very much for sharing this! I have been wanting to pick this set up for a while, but it has always been too expensive, and I could never get the eBay trick to work.

Is the coupon dead? I'm not seeing it. Or do you just go via that link and it is automatic?
