Three Colors Trilogy at Wal-Mart?!

I was at my local Wal-Mart today, and saw Krzysztof Kieslowski's THREE COLORS TRILOGY in the DVD section. I've always wanted to buy the set, but when I saw it in other stores, it was $40! But at Wal-Mart, it was selling for $19.96!

That's right...this is not a joke...three discs, three movies, hours of extras...for about $6-7 a disc!

So for anyone who thought about wanting to buy the trilogy but resisted because of the price, you should definitely check your nearest Wal-Mart now before it's too late!

I've almost bought the individual releases at DD during recent sales, which would have wound up costing about the same price, but the collector nerd in my has always wanted the box, so I've held out. I'll definitely go take a look at my local Wally World this week though. It does seem like a very strange thing for them to carry now though.

I picked them up when DDD had B2G1F, so it was $12 for all 3.

Regardless, even for $20 this series is a great deal.

That's what I did as well, but like you said, $20 is still a fantastic deal like that, and even better since it comes with the box.

I just got mine at Movie Stop the other day. It was used, but it was only $4.99 for the trilogy.

Looked today and it was nowhere in sight. I'll be interested to see if anyone else finds it.

Ditto. I'd be interested in where exactly the OP's "local" Walmart is. I'll be checking in my area (SE MI) later today.

Last time someone mentioned the $4.88 sale w/"Eating Raoul", I didn't find it for over a week, after posting, in my local WMs. Probably same with this?

When I saw it for the 1st time, it was only 1 level. Went back today & didn't see it at all.

Well, except eating raoul, the titles I was considering have shown up in the 6.98 DDD sale--and the SEs instead of the barbones editions, too! (Devil's Backbone and the Professionals SE...though it appears mispriced on there)
