Got the same "customer service" when I called.

I can only imagine how this is going to be during the holidays. I asked the CSR, shouldn't back orders take precendent, and he indirectly said the "higher-ups" still wanted to process recent orders along with the old ones. Which is why people are getting some orders now, and some are not. It's just a whole mess. They are basically getting a few past orders done, then taking care of recent orders, and so on.

Still waiting on two more (of ten titles) from my one and only order (on August 8th) - Twilight Zone and O Lucky Man (still in preorder stage). The stuff that was out when I ordered shipped right away in August. All of the preorders in my order shipped three or more weeks after their street dates (not including TZ and OLM, the verdict on both remaining uncertain). Bizarre and extremely annoying customer service, to say the least.

I was considering ordering the Kubricks and The Jazz Singer from WB, as well, with the latest 25% coupon, but held off hoping that Columbia House would carry those titles. Now that it looks like CH won't have them, I'm still hesitant to go through WB even with the discount, as it appears I probably wouldn't receive them until sometime next year at the pace WB is processing orders.

I have the impression that the WB Store's shipping department consists of one mentally impaired guy with a tape gun. And the tape gun is broken.

When you guys cancel, do you get an email confirming it was canceled? I'm curious if they really canceled mine. Apparently I didn't set up an account (but I swear I did!) since I can't log in online...

Am I the only one who can't stand that website and don't understand why the use it? Does any other major website use it, I never saw it before ordering with them.

i had to send 3 emails to cancel 4 orders.

2 of the orders were dupes of something that i ordered once.
dont know how it got duped.
this was after i called a week ago to cancel the orders.

the email i finally got says the 3 orders weree cancelled and he 4th should also, cancel eventually.
or if it ships anyway i can refuse the package and it will go back and be refunded after returning.

So I cancelled everything today...no emails no nothing.

I guess I should call them again soon. I don't want to get sent copies of Kubrick from both Amazon and WB. :/

Man, I really regret ever ordering from them. Won't do it ever again.
Horrible horrible service.

I placed an preorder over two months ago, for Wild Bunch, Deliverance & the Kubricks.

Both Wild Bunch & Deliverance have been out for a month or so. Nothing.

I really thought that Warner would have had enough time to sort themselves out by the time the Kubricks shipped. While I want to hold on for the lower prices, and was prepared to wait, I can't believe this is still dragging on. Its not as if you get a progress update or ANYTHING from Warner. Useless.

It's yet another "layer" of protection for WB. If there's a problem, they can simply blame that site as well if the order isn't canceled.

B3 is the leading strategic partner for entertainment companies that want to accelerate their increasingly profitable direct-to-consumer online sales. B3 takes the risk and complexity out of the process by providing a sophisticated, yet completely turn-key solution that doesn't require any technical expertise or investment of development capital.

B3's proven, private-labeled e-commerce infrastructure was originally developed for divisions of Time Warner, then launched by Bank of America and Wells Fargo to serve the needs of their small-to-medium-sized merchant customers. B3 now powers the online storefronts for Warner Brothers Records, Atlantic Records, Rhino Records, EMI/Castalian, MusicToGo and Warner Home Video.
Warner Brothers could have monkeys taking orders, and we'd get better service.

I've been waiting on Galapagos (BD) to ship and the upcoming Kubricks (BD) next week. I received an email indicating that Galapagos would ship within the next 2 weeks, so I'll expect that towards the end of this month and the Kubricks after Thanksgiving

I have no idea what's happened with their distribution center, but a 3-6 week delay for these orders is bordering on unacceptable to me.

BUMP...

A few days ago I saw a prelim charge for the Kubrick titles appear on my CC but it was not processed and I was not charged. Anybody getting a shipping notice on these. Still waiting on other titles I ordered. I did receive Alexander: FC on HD DVD. This store sucks ass. Never encountered shit like this with the Fox store or any online retailer for that matter.

Yeah, I had Constantine, believe it or not, which appeared on my CC for a few days, then disappeared. WTF. This isn't even a "hot title". I received Alexander a few weeks ago as well.

I sent an email to their CS address about the three items in my August order that hadn't shipped. A few days later, I got an email back, telling me my items were backordered 2-4 weeks... including the new Kubrick box set. I immediately called CS, got a very nice operator who tried her best, but couldn't give me any other information (other than their computer system is completely screwed up.) I told her to cancel everything left on the order... and close my WB Store account.

For safe measure, I sent two (2) emails to confirm my cancellation request and removed all my credit card information from MyExpressCheckout. I then reordered two of the items (Kubrick & Jazz Singer box sets) from Barnes & Noble...and even saved a few bucks (thanks to my new B&N membership and some online codes.)

And I, as well, recently requested order cancellation. I never received my advance order of Cruising (released on 9/18!). Response:

Thank you for contacting Online Customer Service.

We have forwarded your cancellation request to our warehouse. However, if
the cancellation is unsuccessful we ask that you please refuse delivery.

Thanks again for contacting us.

Regards,
Online Customer Service
The Kubrick Collection is the other thing in the order, and that's not looking so optimistic judging by your posts so I think I'm going to cancel the entire remainder of the order.

Actually Columbia House just added the Kubrick Collection to their site. Weird thing is they've set it as a pre-order for November 19th.

I received two of the Kubrick HD DVDs, Shining and Eyes Wide Shut, but the packing slip says they also sent Clockwork Orange, which wasn't in the box. Customer service was of no help (shocker) because the order status says that none of the HD DVDs shipped, so I may be SOL.

I never received shipping confirmation and my status on the WB site still shows as "in process," but today UPS delivered HD-DVDs of 2001, EWS, and A Clockwork Orange (which does, in fact, include the "A" on both spine and cover). Obviously, this bodes well.

That's good news for me. Maybe I'll get it this week.

As I mentioned in the HD forum, my Warner shipment arrived today, as well, while the correct shipping info has yet to be reflected online. Anyone waiting on theirs shouldn't panic because it's likely going to arrive right on time.

Out of curiousity, how did they arrive? Standard USPS or UPS? Just curious is all because my mail for the day has already arrived so was wondering if there was still a chance of them arriving today. Man, that would make my day. My week. Thanks.
