Heads up to anyone who preordered the Blade Runner briefcase using the 25% off code - Warner lowered the price by ten dollars, so it looks like it would actually be cheaper to cancel the 25% off order, and reorder using the WBWEL code.

Darn the bad luck! That's the thing about good deals...there's always a better one coming. I'd consider cancelling but from what I've read it sounds like getting this done is more painful than a root canal without novacaine! If I hadn't pre-ordered every WB HD title between now and December I would try to cancel this part of my order. I don't remember which member said it but they were right in saying that pre-ordering something in early August for a December release was probably not the smartest move since a better deal was likely to show up. Good call, man...good call...

It ends up being a $4 difference...not a big deal as it turns out, BUT I wonder if they'd adjust previous orders since the actual price of the item has been lowered?

Anybody get any of their orders from the sale 2 weeks ago? It seems like they just completely shut down. The site just says "In Process" for all of my order. Is this the reason they gave 25% off? They knew you were not going to get your order until September.

Just received my 1st order today (The Thin Man Collection, Road Warrior HD, Entourage Season 3 PT. 1) . 2 weeks after I placed the order, & on top of that it was very poorly packaged. Amazingly to me, nothing was damaged, but I sure hope I get better service on the pre-orders I made through the sale.

I got an e-mail on 8/8 saying the following was shipped on 8/7:

Yes, the one in stock disc I ordered shipped out. The rest were preorders.

The HD DVD and Blu-ray versions. I'm not sure what the price of the DVD version was originally, so I'm not sure if that changed.

Do note if you order from the WB website, you get a $10 voucher on a future purchase. So, if you order something that is not on their small list of titles which will ship before 9-4, you'll get another $10 off plus whatever discount you used.

Damn nice to hear some people are getting their orders. I ordered some titles that are preorders, but I should have atleast received TMNT. I guess I shall wait to the end of the week and see what happens.

Between the dates of August 8 and September 4th, when you place an order you'll get a $10 voucher. So, if some of you ordered on August 8 and as of today, you will not get your order until after 9-4 (except for a few titles WB has made exception to). Apparently, WB is upgrading their system. If you go to their DVD page, you'll see a notation at the top in red writing. Click on it, and you'll see the message. Orders placed before 8-8 should be fine. I placed mine on the 4th, but who knows. I did get one title, so theoretically the order should be fine. Also, I would think orders placed after 8-8 would get a notice about this in their email.

I received my Popeye: 1933-1938 set this morning from UPS; came in a small box and was well secured.

Crap, I placed an order of 7 DVDs with them using the 25% off coupon on 8/3 but all but 2 of them won't even be released until October or November and of the two that are not preorders, only one of them has even shipped.

I wonder if I could cancel the other five titles in the order and make a new one, since I got free shipping with the over $60 order.

Anyone have any pre-orders arrive or ship that were released yesterday? I pre-ordered Nip/Tuck Season 4 a month ago and it hasn't shipped yet. How is their service in terms of getting new releases to us in a decent time frame?
