Someone bit, obviously. I picked mine up for $115 last year on ebay, with the NIMBUS logo and all that other good stuff.

Does anyone have any experience with their accuracy regarding particular versions of DVDs, CDs, etc.? There's a SACD listed which I'd order, but I don't want to have to experience the hassle of returning it if a regular CD shows up in the mail.

I am trying to get some Asian movies. These are all used DVDs right?
So are they all going to be R1. How is their service has anyone else have nay experience with them. I want to get them for as less as possible. I tried half.com and amazon, but they still come out to be expensive even though they are used. So when i saw this I thought maybe this will save me some money. I just want to know about their service and how long does their standard shipping take.

Yeah they only sell used items. I have bought from them a few times and it's always been good. Shipping isn't terribly bad either.

They share the same used stock as www.wherehouse.com.

Are the DVDs in good condition. Meaning scratch free? Also do they come in the original DVD box/case whatever, or do they put the dvds in some other case. What I am interested to know is that are these the same dvds that you can buy from an online or a retail store.

Tempted to get the Ray LE for $12.75 but I don't know if I can trust the condition and completeness when I buy from these places (not that I have bought from them before or anything).

Everything I've gotten so far from them has been complete and in good condition. I can't vouch for this to happen 100% of the time though. Let's take an OOP item though for example. My 2-Disc From Hell had the inserts and the discs were great.

The condition has always been good for me, but I've had one time (out of a lot) that it wasn't complete. Well, it wasn't exactly me, but for my b-day my mom got me the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, it was the special edition or whatever it was called which was supposed to include a cover (it's in a fold-out digipack), a metal plate and an insert, none of which were included, just the digipack and the 2 discs. Of course, I didn't even need this as I already had it anyway, my mom just got me the wrong thing :P
Anyway, not trying to scare anybody, but just wanted to let you know my (1 time) experience.

The quality can vary from perfect to scratched to hell. They usually come complete, but now always. One problem is that they often put the discs in new cases. While that sounds good, they're really cheap cases that smell of petroleum and don't hold the discs that well, which sometimes results in discs becoming loose during shipping. What makes it worse is that the hubs are sharp, so when the discs do come loose, they often become extremely scratched. Then they often pack them in white glossy foam that picks up every piece of dirt between their warehouse and your house, and doesn't protect the cheap cases very well. I've gotten several shattered cases. They also put stickers on all the cases, which may or may not come off, and then shrink wrap them, all of which I find annoying.

I know that sounds pretty negative, but I actually kind of like them. Despite the annoyances, most of the discs I've gotten from them have been fine, and they sometimes have really good deals. One big positive is that when you do have a problem, their customer service via email is excellent. They are usually very quick in resolving any issues.

Ok, considering to use this opportunity to get the rest of the "24" season sets. One question: Does second spin ship via UPS or USPS? I prefer having all my things shipped to P.O. Box, but while filling out the "shipping/billing" info, it wants me to include my "Street" address.

Everything I've received from them (including a MSCL boxset!!) has been shipped to Canada via USPS. If you're ordering multiple sets, you should verify it with them first.

For those of you that have ordered from them before, how long has it taken to receive your order?

My order came through fine, and they tossed in an extra CD. I don't know if that was a mistake or if they were just saying "thank you". But considering that the CD was of Swiss folk music, sung in German, with contrabass, accordian, and tuned wooden blocks accompanyment.... well, uhhh, let's just say that I'm not exactly 'jamming' to it.
