War of the Worlds LE part of 2 for $12 @CVS until 3/24

If you have the CVS (pharmacy store on the Northeast coast and maybe other places) then at the bottom of page 5 of this week's sales flyer there is a section for some DVDs priced at 2 for $12. Pictured are Mean Girls, Blue's (Clues) Big Band, How to lose a guy in 10 days and War of the Worlds LE (2-disc version). This flyer can also be viewed online @ www.cvs.com
Now, obviously it is highly unlikely that CVS will carry the LE of WotW (but who knows....they did have a clearance sale of CDs/DVDs a few weeks back because they were going to discontinue selling DVDs/CDs instore), but you might be able to PM the ad somewhere else.
I remember getting this on release at Best Buy by PMing Stop & Shop and using a coupon for $8 out the door with a bonus book about the movie.
So good luck to you all!

Nvm. I saw the ad for my store. It's there with the special edition cover. I'll pass by when I get off work later today.

I've already tried three in my area and they don't carry the L.E. of this.

"Take that ad to BB or CC and get a price match."

Has anyone been successful? My ad says something about having to have a discount card for this deal (at CVS). I figure they'd deny the match for that reason alone.

Went to my CVS just to check and all they had was the 1 disc WotW and, horror of horrors, all the stock was fullscreen!! I dont think they had a widescreen title (if a ws or fs version was released) in the bin at all.

i've price matched numerous times with ads from CVS/Walgreens/Sears....without any problems.

Checked 2 CVS stores and they didn't have it. Found it in stock at Circuit City but they refused to pricematch.

Thanks for sharing though.
