I've used Movie Cash at the UA IMAX near me before. You just need to pay the price difference.

Do you guys know if these tickets work on opening night/weekend? Or do they only work a week after release? Thanks.

Got 8 at Best Buy in Fullerton.
Rbow854597 Yes, you can use them on the opening night.
I know because I used movie ticket coupons for Superman Returns, POTCMC and X-Men:TLS on the first day of release. It's better to go to the theater in the morning then the night.

The free tickets that I've gotten in the past was for the first 10 days to 2 weeks, including the opening weekend. I cannot comment on this particular one because I was unable to procure one today(hopefully, I'll get one on my return visit tomorrow).

Ok, I have to ask...Is there any reason you needed to take 8 of them?

If you look, they are already selling these on eBay.

Douchebags.

All I wanted was one for myself and one for my fiancee, and now it looks like everywhere's sold out because people took 20 of them on Sunday and are selling them off on Ebay.

Yeah, I'm not big on doing that. I took 2 and then a friend wanted one so I grabbed one for him today when I bought Tenacious D.

Sleazy, sleazy people. When I went this morning, there was a guy who had AT LEAST 20-30 of the DVDs in his basket. I can see 2 or 3, but 30?!?!?!?

This is going to ruin future promotions for everyone. A few abuses like this and watch how quickly the studios limit these things to one per customer.

My Best Buy didn't put them out until today and I picked one up with every new release since I already have every Warner Bros special edition. I didn't see anybody else with them.

I'm crossing my fingers that my Best Buy still has copies left tomorrow when I go to pick up the new NiN DVD... they weren't putting out the discs until today, but I had class and did about 6 hours worth of reading in the law library this afternoon.

I don't see any IMAX theaters as the choices on the website for participating theaters.

i work at a movie theater, and these tickets are generally accepted everywhere. the moviecash tickets are actaully checks that the movie theater can just deposit in the bank. I don't think my theater is listed as accepting these, but my manager always says to take them as a 'customer service'

The preview has short (2-5 min.) features about making the movie, special effects, interviews with the main actors, etc. It'll make a nice addition when the DVD is released (assuming these aren't the extras on that release).

are you talking about theaters that are exclusively IMAX? that might be the case. They will definitely work however at a theater that just has an IMAX screen or two.
