Yeah, do you see it after you place the order?

I got 5 orders in rapid succession. All for items under $8, all still show with promotional discount in my Amazon history, and all are "shipping soon"

Just tried some orders.. No discount showing.
Probably for the better, my credit card is near it limit, which is not a good thing.

I can't believe that after the recent promotional discount mixup at amazon that people are still willing to try to take advantage of these loopholes at their site - they will likely either change your order or send you threatening emails a few days later.

I placed an order last night just because, and I was surprised to see this discount. I thought maybe there was some special on the DVDs I ordered I didn't know about, but I guess not. I hope this doesn't cause any problems, I was just minding my business.

so does the discount just show up in the cart or is the deal dead?

Update: I placed 2 orders using the $5 off discount. The first, The Adventures of Superman Seasons 5 & 6 shipped today and I was charged the correct amount ($24.XX) which takes into account the $5 discount.

The 2nd order is for Family Ties Season 1, so we'll see if that one goes through.

My one order shipped, and shows the discount...

I changed my address on one of my orders and then the $5 went away. cant complain though got 2 orders one was a cancelled preorder so same price as before.

Anyone know how long it takes to get the $5 magazine gift credit?

I received mine a couple of weeks ago.
