Your right. When I saw their new flyer showing it marked down to $20.97 I was thinking of my $33.43 total and forgot that included Shipping & Processing of $9.98 and Tax of $2.48

Just wanted to post somewhere here a big thanks for all who posted about the options for purchasing the Pedro set for cheap. I just received my box set via ch.com. Again, big thanks.

The marketplace has one used listed at 19.74 plus shipping if someone is still looking for this.

Edit: Dead now.

Can someone confirm for me whether the Columbia House thing is still working? I don't wanna sign up and then find out they fixed their price.

I just ordered another copy from CH.com - can't say for sure if they will ever ship it.

This would be a great time to pick up the set from the normal ColumbiaHouse DVD club. They have a BOGO with free shipping (only for the free "normal" DVD, not on the box set. So, in the end, you could get this set, and another DVD of your choice, for right at $30. That's how I bought mine a while back - got The Science of Sleep and the Pedro set for $30 or so.

What would be the deal with Columbia House? How many DVDs need to be purchased and so on?

Post a thread or post in one of the open threads asking that question in the DVD Club forum, and we'll answer all of your questions there.

Still think that buying it for $21 shipped at CH.com and buying that "normal" DVD as part of a regular enrollment (where each movie has an average cost of $6 or so) is a better deal. Unless 1 or more count as enrollments, of course.

Your "free" one can be a new release - like the 2 disc Departed or the 2 disc Casino Royale.

Whoa, I snagged the Viva Pedro set from wherehouse.com when it came in stock earlier this week.

It shipped two days ago and already came here.

Ordered this from CH.com for about $21 over a month ago & shortly after it shipped. Still waiting for it to arrive & I was told by CH.com that it may take as much as 6 weeks to arrive... do they ship by any methods cheaper & slower than media mail?

I thought media mail was about the slowest they offered.

Ordered from on the 14th, shipped on the 19th, arrived today!

CH.com media mail beats DVDplanet hands down!

No other place for international buyers? I don't mind the price is a little bit higher than CH.com.

It looks like wherehouse.com found the mistake, as I no longer see it on the website.
