I guess their catching on. This is from an e-mail I signed up a couple days ago to get some DVDs at buy.com, and I never was able to place the order, it would always error when I hit place order.

Were you using the same credit card # on every account? It seems like everyone who has been getting those emails has been only using a single credit card.

These $10 deals have been adding up (from Google's 4th Quarter Earnings Statement):

Yea, I used the same everything, address name and credit card, just a different e-mail. My wife has an account that she hasn't used for this, I don't know if we should risk it or not.

I was able to do a couple accounts yersterday with a different email/(virtual) credit card combo each time and had no issues.

I'm just getting in the tail end of this thread so excuse me if you already mentioned this, but where did you order from? Most websites have a place where you can track your order. Also, has your credit card been charged? If it hasn't, I'd say there's a problem.

Does anyone know how to contact Google Checkout regarding a problem? I have an order from last night that is saying credit card declined. It says I have three days to provide a valid credit card or the order will be canceled. Problem is, I was charged for it and the charge went through and is listed on my card.

That is only a pending charge on your card. You haven't been charged.

On another note, my Masters Of Horror - Fair Haired Child finally arrived from Dvd Planet after nearly 3 weeks. The disc came loose inside, but thankfully, no scratches.

It's a prepaid card and the money is gone from the balance, so something has happened. I've had other charges declined and they say "Declined" right next to them and the amount is crossed out and not deducted. This amount is listed normally and deducted.

Have they pulled the plug on this? Or is this just temporary?

It took almost 2 weeks for my Antoine Doinel Boxset CC to get here (in California). And I bought it on the regular DVDPlanet site, not with Google Checkout.
