Narnia 4-disc rebate questions??
I am filling out the form for the Narnia $10 rebate if you had purchased both the original and new 4-disc version. One of the requests is that you send a reciept with the dates between Dec.12,2006 and Jan.31,2007 on it. Well my problem is this. I bought it through Amazon. It shows a purchase date of 12/2 and a ship date of 12/10. Will they accept this? Does anyone have a phone # to call to ask? Also, I wonder if I should send a copy of the tracking info. To show I didn't receive until after 12/12
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

FWIW, whenever this happens, I always include a little note with my submission. I tell them that I preordered the item and that I should be entitled to the rebate. I've never been declined once.

Another potential worry is the line "Store receipts must emanate from same state as consumer address". So anyone who ordered online could potentially be denied. And there is no contact info on the form to verify the terms. I called Buena Vista and the lady in the rebate dept. had no information on the rebate. She could only say "it'll probably be OK". So I guess doing a buy/return to get a local receipt may be required just to be safe for those who ordered online. There is no mention of this requirement on the outside of the box or at online sites advertising the rebate.

hey, do you have to cut out the proof of purchase from the original 2 disc version and also cut out the proof of purchase from the 4 disk edition? that reallys destroys the collectibility of these dvds

Don't know how this will be handled, but some years back I had a rebate that I mailed in to MGM, and they rejected it because the date of purchase on my receipt from amazon.com was BEFORE the release date of the DVD. (I had pre-ordered the disc, and the fine print said the purchase date had to be release date or later, which I never noticed before mailing).

99.9% probability you won't have a problem.
