I'm looking forward to Jackass 2 on Tuesday. Does it show what the free beanie looks like?

Typical Black knit cap is all. It has the Jackass logo (Skull & Crutches) on front in white.

My post was just an example of PM'ing, responding to someone else's question. Those are not real prices.

EDIT>>>>> Little blurb on page 1: Markdowns taken from regular prices

I guess it depends what they mean by "regular price". Is regular price MSRP or what Best Buy normally sells it for? Because Best Buy's normal price is a slight discount, which can be called "sale price". I'm hoping it's the former, but you could argue either way. Cause I'm used to seeing stores advertise percent off MSRP.

REGULAR in store price.

That's why I listed a $55 price for Band of Brothers at the Best Buy in my area.

Your store price may be higher or lower than that.

I'm lucky in that I have 2 Best Buys to choose from and both use slight price variations.

To me the sale is on HBO owned / branded DVDs / DVD sets (if my clarification helps you).
That's what I was thinking. Not worth it to get up on Christmas Eve for me.

Thanks, Speedy!!

Since I'm working that day, I may have to settle for what's left.
Entourage is a good one. You should like it (judging by your other tastes).

You know what you could do?

Go there like a day or two early, and then hide the dvds in really obscure places...like not in the dvd aisles.

Works like a charm...every time!

Guess this is a good time to pick up 24 season 2 and 3 to complete my set.

Also, Gears of War for $45. You won't be able to beat that deal for awhile.

Looks like I'll be spending some good money after Christmas.

Thanks, speedy! Happy holidays to you and your family!

Same to you SBM!

Unfortunately it's just me and Bossie The Udder Wonder in the CowCave this year!

I'm going to have a cigar (after work) and watch 24: Season 5 for as long as I can stand!

I'd like to but going from job #1 to job #2 right after job #1 ends cuts out that possibility.

Plus on one of my work days I've have to start posting Target for 12/31/06 (which has indeed arrived).

I was thinking about picking up all the 24 Seasons, but I can't bring myself to do it! The best thing about 24 is not knowing what's coming next, I can't imagine watching it knowing every intense moment that's about to happen. The driving force behind the show is the "edge of your seat” and “uncertainty” factor of what will happen next. IMHO

I will however pick up The Decent.

Believe it or not, I've learned to appreciate 24 a lot more when watching it the second time around. It's pretty cool to see if you can see the clues and things of that nature before said events actually take place.

Seasons 1-3 are available for 19.99...I think all seasons are available for 19.99 at Target though with no sale or anything.

I agree. I want Airwolf 2 as well and had hoped that there would be a sale price posted. Debating where to order the set...

Has anyone bought from hotmoviesale.com or family video? Both seem to have a $5 off for your first purchase. Have not ordered from either online retailer.

i've said it before on this forum and i'll say it again, the wire is the BEST show on tv. or at least way up at the top. one thing though, it starts S L O W. don't think its going to be all "Law and order wrap things up in 42 minutes" type of thing. it literally takes an entire season to get through stuff. the first time i watched it i really didn't appreciate how good it was until it was over.

Just got back from CC and BB

BB has 24 S5 for $49.99 but they wont give the extra 10% off difference from their own add

CC had 24 for $34.99, so I bought it and will get the difference later. Thatll be $18.49 instead.

When I requested they charge me $49.99, the girl gave me funny looks...

Can anyone say whether or not Sex & The City - The Complete Series is a worthwhile purchase? I've never seen the show. It's priced at $199.99.
