Anyone know when this sale is going to happen again?

Day after Christmas or Forth of July

Just got a call from the assistant manager at one of the stores I frequent, he gave me a heads-up that it's going to start on Sunday. I'm trying to get that confirmed, but the regular employees at the other stores I go to aren't working tonight.

I'll go by the one by my office later tonight and see what they say.

Okay, I just went over and talked to the guys... the word they have is there is a sale starting this weekend, but they're under the impression it may start as early as Friday, so you may want to call your local and see if they're starting any earlier than Sunday.

I saw their weekly ad, and it starts this Sunday 12/17- and runs till the close of business on 12/19. Only a two day B2G1 sale.

Bummer!!

I just got 2 games there last night for gifts for my nephew.

Wonder if I can do a return/repurchase to get the deal.

thats strange that they would start a sale on a sunday & not there usual fri-sunday sales.

Quick question, I went on Thursday and found The Woods, The Proposition, and The Medallion (filler) in the $5.99 bin so I jumped on these right away. Should I have waited for the sale? Can you guys refresh me on how this sale affects the $6 bin? I think I should have gotten all 3 for $6.66 right? Can I go and get money back? Thanks!

I went into an EBGames (one in the same store I believe, right) the other night and asked if the B2G1 was going on and was told no. I bought The Larry Sanders Show. Might do a return, repurchase or... just say screw it.

I went to my local Gamestop last night, and they said the sale wasn't on, but maybe early next week. Guessing this means Sunday-Tuesday...I'll take another look then.

EB's in Idaho weren't having the sale either and didn't know anything about an upcoming sale. Has actually confirmed any stores that are having the sale right now?

The Sunday newspaper in Los Angles Times has GameStop/EBgame ad that confirms that the sale starts on Sunday and ends on Tuesday. 12/17-12/19

LOL! That's usually how I find anything good at GS, too... what are people DOING to their DVDs that the cases are so destroyed? I just had to laugh at the comment!

All 3 of the EBs/Gamestops in Boise had the sale going this morning. I didn't find any DVDs or Video Games worth the deal, the only good used thing I saw was R6 Vegas at the EB on Eagle and Fairview, but I've already got it.
