Anyone who doesen't already own Errol Morris' First Person should pick it up - it makes for fascinating and eclectic viewing.

Yeah, after the three movies from the box I picked up for half a buck each at J&R, and the Australian Mr. Death that just came in the mail a week or so ago, to have First Person for about $10....well, it's been a very Morris Christmas this year.

Went ahead and picked up the slim sets- I'm not a super X-Files nerd, so I don't need that seventh disk of extras, and for $12.47 for each it's a no brainer.

1 X-Files - The Complete Fourth Season (1996-1997) $34.95
1 X-Files, The: The Complete Third Season (1995-1996) $0.00
Shipping & Handling (Free Economy Shipping) : $0.00
Tax (MA) : $0.00
1 Google Checkout Bonus - $10 off orders over $30 from this store. (Bonus may not appear on store's web site or emails.) -$10.00
Total: $24.95

Edit: looks like they have the 7th disks on Netflix, so I can just rent and burn if necessary.

I have The X-Files 1-6 digipaks and I've been tempted so many times to convert to slims. I still have hope for a big box set though, esp. considering how low these are going for now.

Thanks for straightening my mind out! I was tunneled because I have all of the other seasons of The Shield except S3. Forgot about the free set.

Bought The Shield S3 and Millennium S1 blindly.

Thanks Again

Why not REFUSE & RETURN TO SENDER? I'm in the same boat and that's what I'm doing.

"Studio Classics Best Picture Collection" and "Marilyn Monroe Special Anniversary Collection" for $24.97 - that's $2.77 a movie! I actually plan on selling 2 of the MM pictures I don't want so the 2 set's are darn near going to be free...

What's the remedy?

sometimes you just have to hit the BACK button several times and the REFRESH and the FORWARD button in various combinations to get it to work. That is what I have had to do and kept doing it for several minutes until it finally worked. Yes, even when you login and Google checkout stays on the login showing you logged in. Someone in another thread said to try the BACK button at this time to get to the final checkout screen. It worked for me the first time on some and on some I still had to go through all those previously mentioned gyrations.

Good luck!

Was thinking about getting either Space: Above and Beyond or Alien Nation. Does anyone know if the Alien Nation movies are available somewhere?

Gosh, most of the stuff I want is now out of stock

Deal ends december 15, hope they get back in stock before then

I wonder if people are buying so much to sell back again on ebay

I wish they would limit 1-2 copy per customer

Yeah, i think so... people feeding off the deal on eBay, but count me out as a sucker. While some people still get a mild bargain on eBay, but still, nothing beats the bargain you get from this forum. I avoid eBay for bargains, only go there for collectible things in the past.

Wanted two Alien Quads. It's a no go. Looks like you have to have two different sets in an order.

I'm expecting a few orders from DDD. Is there a way to tell from the outside of the box which it is?

Millennium S3 is now OOS at DVDPlanet anyways.
