couldn't seem to find the Oliver Stone Collection as one of the selections. Does anyone know the rebate number, I tried putting the UPC # from the rebate form but that doesn't work.

Also, is the packaging slip the invoice deal that will come with the set?

Any help appreciated.

I called coconuts.com to cancel my FYE.com order because I rushed through my order yesterday and the default shipping charge was $4.95 (ouch!). The CSR told me the manufacturer is OOS, OOP and FYE won't be able to restock this title. I'm not quite sure to believe the CSR but at least my order is pending cancellation. I already own the titles that I wanted most out of this set so no great loss.

Mine shipped today...I was hasty and didn't get the 10% extra off (but did get free shipping) so mine was 37.97 with tax. Still an excellent deal, especially after I get the rebate. Thanks OP!

I ordered at about 9 am Pacific Time on the 5th.

$34.99, less a $15 rebate that printed out at the register. I had vowed to stay away from fye, but even without the rebate, $34.99 is a very good price for this set. The rebate just sweetens the deal, even though I'm sure I'll have to make a call or two to get the rebate processed correctly.
Was the in-store rebate one-day only?

From post #8 by jeffrey_r,

"... The in-store rebate form shows the rebate period as 11/30/06 - 1/10/07. As to the sales price at $34.99, who knows how long that will last."

This rebate might not be part of presubmit rebates. Packaging slip comes with your DVD yes.

For peeps missing out, check your stores. Most of our stores had good stock on this title.

We have 3 at the Coconuts in South Burlington Vermont at this point.

Mine was cancelled as well. Not as though my life depended on it, but it would have been nice to have for under $14. Though I did call up customer service to find out what happened. I don't know why they call it customer service - every question that I asked regarding this order was forwarded off to corporate headquarters to get an answer. I then asked to speak with someone from corporate - and was told, "You can't call them, but they will answer your questions via email and get back to you shortly." LOL Guess it is just hit and miss with FYE.com.

Not a chance. 3 months is lightning fast turnaround for TWE rebates.

Yep, same here. Well, I'll try in-store to see if they still have it for $34.99 with a $15 rebate. I get 10% off for backstage pass, so it's still a good deal... If they have the B1G1F people have reported, it's an even better deal.

Went to the store and they had about eight of them. Picked up one of the Oliver Stone sets and the Back to the Future Trilogy for free (it was one of the half dozen items not overmarked at $50) + $15 rebate.

Did the freebie process automatically? I just want to make sure I won't have to fight for it...

Well when I went up the register the guy said, "Did you get that off the table?". To which I replied yes because I did, so he checked, and it was all fine. There were more around the store marked with some sticker that were included in the sale as well I guess. Just such crappy prices.
