$17.88 Boxset at Walmart - Awesome Deals

I just went to Walmart and picked up the Best Buy King Kong Collection and the Steve Mcqueen Collection for $17.88 each. King Kong set has the 2 disc King Kong tin plus Son of Kong and Mighty Joe Young. The Steve Mcqueen set has Bullitt 2disc, Getaway, Cincinnati Kid, Papillion, Tom Horn, and Never So Few. Bullitt by itself retails for $20. I also saw an Elvis boxset and Austin Powers boxset as well. Hurry and grab these.

To add to the list, I also saw the Ben-Hur and Gone With the Wind 4-disc sets at Walmart for $17.88 each, as well as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trilogy.

EDIT:

Here are the ones that I saw for $17.88:

-Austin Powers Trilogy
-Ben-Hur 4-Disc Collector's Edition
-Elvis Presley: The Signature Collection 6-Disc
-Essential Steve McQueen Collection
-Friday 3-Pack
-Gone With the Wind 4-Disc Collector's Edition
-King Kong Collection (w/ Tin)
-Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy
-Marx Brothers Collection
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles Trilogy

You can buy all of these at FamilyVideo for $16.82 after the $5 off coupon as well.

I'll prob. pick up Ben hur and Gone with the Wind 4-disk sets.
I already have the Mcqueen collection but i might pick up another one as a gift. that is one hell of a deal...

hmm! Kong!

if that's the tin I'm thinking of though, it was NOT exclusive.

Best Buy sold it with an exclusive, well two. Their box set included Son Of Kong and Might Joe Young. Plus the tin box came with additional lobby card posters; five more I believe. I screwed up that day. I was looking for just the tin and found that box. Sensory overload that day, I didnt' really read the box. Took home the full set. Sway.

It was exclusive, but then 6 months later universal let the other retailers have it as well. Even if you buy it at other places though, it still says Best Buy on the back.

My advice is to order now. Last week they had some good sets for 14.88 each and sold out quick. By the time I was going to buy Leave it to Beaver, the sale was over...

Slightly off topic....

Do you actually get charged (Credit Card) when the order is confirmed (order # issued via e-mail)? Or are they placing a temporary charge on the card. It will take ~2 weeks for me to receive the Steve McQueen set.

I got the King Kong tin, Ben Hur, and Gone With the Wind. There's nothing better than having a store selling a Best Buy exclusive for $18 when the actual Best Buy store still sells it for $40. Thanks to the OP.
