Sweeet Deals!!

Thanks for the post... I'll take the printout to my local Circuit City or Best Buy here in NYC and see if they will price match it for me. Since there isn't a Wal-mart here in the city, I hope they'll still PM them...

Thanks OP! I walked into CC today with a print out and walked out with Season 2, 3, and 4 (they didn't have 1 ) of Monk for $36.15 including tax. Damn good deal.

110% price match guarantees. BB and CC have them. 110% of the difference is subtracted from their price.

Thanks, OP!

Pricematched seasons 1 and 2 of Las Vegas at BB with printouts from Wal-Mart's site, no questions asked. Both for slightly more than $30 total out the door. Was going to buy these as gifts anyway, so this was a HUGE score for me.

My local Wal-Mart in Colton, CA finally had the sale up. Display rack. The sale with Smallville seasons 1-4.

Thanks for the heads up. Just got back from the CC on 80th & Broadway and price matched the first seasons of both House and Monk. I had to go to customer service because the CSR didn't even know what price matching was... Dear God!!! And yes there was one CSR working with a line of about 15 customers. Damn CC!!!

The woman at customer service first said that they don't price match Wal-mart at CC's here in NYC. I said, "oooooh yes CC does, they price match Wal-mart at every CC in the country." So, she got on the phone with the manager and he approved the price match. It didn't matter that it was printed from the web. No questions were asked whether it was an on-line or b&m sale.

House = $11.87 + tax
Monk = $12.37 + tax
-------------------------------
$26.27 total including tax...

Looks like the site doesn't list any more boxsets.

I PMed the first two Seasons of "Leave It To Beaver" at Best Buy for about $30. The manager just looked and the ad, said, "That's a damn good price," and approved it.

DAMN!!! You're right... All the Monk, House and Las Vegas boxsets are gone and they upped the price on the Northern Exposure set.

I guess price matching is now out of the question for those who didn't print the pages ahead of time...

So, I went back to my CC tonight to try my luck again and was DENIED big time!!! I still had a print out from yesterday for Las Vegas season 1 & 2... The A-Hole manager said that they don't PM Wal-mart because there isn't one in close proximity here in the city. Then he said the ad was an on-line deal and wouldn't have honored it anyways. I argued that it wasn't. This SOB then said since the ad said sold out he had another reason not to accept it. I said show me ths in writing and he told me to call the corporate CC to complain... So, I just walked out PISSED and will be calling CC in the morning... I don't even care about the DVD's, I just want to prove this guy wrong...

I can't believe they're using the whole "there are no Wal-marts here" rule. I PM Wal-mart all the time, and the closest one to me is New Jersey which is a whole state away. My BB even had Wal-mart on the list of "Competitors" when they go into it on the screen to PM.
