Totally legit. I've bought stuff from them online as well as at their store in Seattle (when I'm on vacation there), and this is a very respectable (and cool) operation.

I have to sit this one out, but for anyone interested I spotted:

Walk The Line: 2 Disc Collector's Edition
Sin City: Uncut 2 Disc Edition
Funny Ha Ha

These are three titles I am always looking for used for a good price.

I am using Firefox and it said that the security certificate has expired on this site. Also I noticed that some of the titles that I put in my cart that showed DVD on the order page now show VHS.

Scarecrow is a legit site. They are actually a B&M store in downtown Seattle that has been around for years. They have always specialized in foreign, rare and other hard to find movies. I've made several purchases from them in the past, and I've always gotten what I paid for. When I lived in Seattle I visited them in person quite a few times.

It should be noted they also have VHS, and Laserdisc used at around $1 each.

Thanks for those recommendations. I ordered the following for pickup at their B&M:

Walk The Line: 2 Disc
Funny Ha Ha
Father of the Pride: Complete Series
The Grid
March of the Penguins: 2 Disc (R2)

Not bad for less than $30. Just hope they're in decent shape.

If the title doesn't say (ws) in it, does that mean that the title in question is fullscreen? For instance, I want to get The Family Stone, but I can't tell if it's the widescreen or fullscreen version.

I'm chickening out as well...
BTW, there are a few more titles not listed above, such as Life as we Know It and the Ellen Show. I searched the used product for "Complete" in addition to "Season".

I picked up Family Affair Season 1 for $3. When I had it in my cart, the price in the search changed to $34, so hopefully it will go through as $3. The checkout indicated $3, but I'll believe it when I get the shipping notice.

Thanks OP!

P.S. Nice score on Carnivale S2! Helluva deal there!

Not to be nit-picky, but for someone who used to live here, you should know that Scarecrow is nowhere near downtown Seattle.

FWIW, greatest video store in the world.

I got a shipping noticed but 3 of the ones I ordered were not in. I'm a little disapointed about that but what can you do.

Here's the note I received from them today.

Due to the popularity of our recent sale, none of the items you placed an order for are currently available. Our online sales and shipping department is closed on weekends so when we went to pull the Internet Orders from the weekend none of the items you ordered are still available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; we hope you continue to look to Scarecrow Video for any future video needs.

Well, regardless, when any of you receive your items please post to let us know about the condition and everything. I might keep my eye on this site if all goes well.
