My order of Family Guy V4 went through right before the crash, so I'm optimistic it didn't get lost, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

OMG!!! I just noticed that Ben Hur, 4-Disc set was $23.09 before discount. It was on my wishlist. Might get that instead of Oldboy now. *thinking*thinking* then they went down ... *sigh*

The forum was down as well. Couldn't connect for the last 5 min. almost.

You'd think after so many sales (and, in turn, outages) they'd have the system able to handle the traffic by now...

Well, those are three of my favorite TV series, and you can't go wrong with any of them. It may be settled on what kind of show you like; they're three distinct settings, all with great casts and, at their best, writing that can't be beat. The West Wing had higher highs and lower lows than the other two, Six Feet Under was perhaps more constant throughout, but Homicide is the one I love unreservedly and can return to over and over. Also, I don't know the price comparisons, but you'll get quite a few more episodes with Homicide or TWW, since they had more and longer seasons.

The Wire is from the people who made Homicide and the first two brilliant seasons are at a great price. I'm not sure either The Wire or Oz will end up with a box set, as they are a bit underrated compared to the other HBO shows. So don't let that hold you back.

No Costco here. $16.89 + tax at B&M would probably come to about the same price. $23.99 - 20% = *gets calculator* $19.19

Ok, probably $1.xx more at DDD

Then a got another email that showed them as quantity 1 and that I was being charged for them ($70 btw). When I called them I got zero help.

Eventually this will be made better, but the fact remains I have been charged for something I did not buy – isn’t that the definition of credit card fraud? Not to mention the hassle of sending back the miss-sent DVDs. They have screwed up before, but this makes me furious. This is their mistake, so why is all the burden being placed on me?

Quantity of zero? That sounds very strange, it really happened to you? It's a little hard to believe...

Probably my last order for this sale.

Order #3:

BEN HUR (4D/COLLECTOR'S ED WITH BOOK) $19.19

What's the difference between this release and the other without the book? That one is still $27.xx. I also took the $10 Great Fun cashback offer. I thought they'd offer $20.

FORBIDDEN PLANET (50TH ANNIVERSARY $ 15.80 1 $ 15.80
