Rainer Werner Fassbinder was the proflic enfant terrible of the New German Cinema. He directed around 40 films starting from the late 60s until his death in 1982.

The July Criterion titles are now listed. I'm not a Criterion completist but I'll be buying all of these. I'm especially looking forward to getting my hands on the first one, which Criterion tentatively announced something like four years ago and it's only just now coming out -- it'll be worth the wait.

Has everyone had a good experience with DVD Planet?
I recently placed an order (a hefty one at that) and paid for two day shipping via UPS. The problem is that DVD Planet sent it to an address with a different street name AND minus my apartment number, which blows my mind because the invoice email they sent me had the correct address that I gave them in the first place. I just had to call UPS and now they are saying I have to wait another day, so already I am not getting what I paid for.
Very annoying. At least with DDD they can manage to type correct addresses on their shipping labels.

Just to let everyone know---
In regards to my above complaint with DVD Planet:
The error seems to have been on the side of UPS. It really makes no sense since DVD Planet had the correct address and UPS also added a second label with the wrong one. Has anyone else experienced this with UPS in general, or in using UPS from DVD Planet orders?
At any rate, I want to thank Mark for taking the time of looking into the matter and corresponding with me. The DVDs arrived in great shape and I am looking forward to ordering from DVD Planet again in the very near future.
I apologize (to Mark and to whoever might have been freaked out) for the rush to judgment with DVD Planet...I was simply worried about a shipment getting lost or what have you especially since that was my first ever order from them.

Nevermind - problem solved.
Since I have the space. I will add that I too am looking foward to a double points week. I have a huge backlog at the house so I have just been putting off buying a lot of things waiting for a deal or double points.

Mark,
I placed an order for several DVDs for which the total was over $150, so I used the $15 off coupon. One of the items went OOPwas canceled and the total came down under $150 and the rest of my order shipped without any discount. I would have like to use another coupon since my order was still over $50 and I could have used the $5 off $50 coupon available. As I said before my order has already been shipped. could I still get a $5 off credited to my card?
Regards,
dx23

This is for Mark Harrill...I'd like to know when I contact DVDPlanet via email they say give us 2 business days and I never hear back. All I want to check is if my useddvds that I was given a quote for was received. It seems when I sent it, the website gave me the Ottowa, IL address. The post office then redirected it to Itasca and it took 14 days to get there, yet it's not been processed, but another shipment that arrived after that was processed already. The Quote machine # is 11766
