Yes.

If they're die-cast metal, I'm getting a set......

They're modeled obviously like the Cars characters in the film.

Are you going to be back from your vacation in time to post Best Buy, Target and Circuit City ads during Black Friday....?

$19.99

Yes.

I already have a few things (of non-interest to DVDTalkers and CAGFolk) accumulated.

My guess? Speedy cut-n-pasted the skeleton from last week's update and just forgot to remove the BluRay header. On the 1-to-10 scale in Crimes Against Humanity, I'd rate it a 0.03.

Thanks again Speedy (even if you [and/or Best Buy] didn't come through with a sale on the Alias box...)

Thanks for the early prices speedy! For a second I thought the regular edition of Cars had a four car gift set too since both Cars and Cars gift set had ++++ after it. Oh well. Wonder if I can apply the $5 I put down for a preorder of Cars towards the giftset? Anybody know?

No. Only the Gift Set has the cars. Sorry.

Call Best Buy & ask. I don't see why it would be a problem to switch to the Gift Set. (Just a little bit of extra paperwork maybe)

I was just rushing to get this thread up.

Someone half complained about my "lateness" at CAG and this is what I said: Sorry... the ad is huge and I had to work my second job last night.

Got home at midnight and typed until 1 am.

Woke up at 5 AM to continue working on thread.

In work at 6:30 AM and added the games and now it's up.

The last 2 days have been EXHAUSTING.

I don't see what the motivation for people to complain about something like that. I, for one, appreciate the favor.

Thanks. Xbox owners get screwed on titles that are available as separate 360 titles also.

Do you guys think 50 bucks for seasons 4 and 5 of the sopranos is a good deal or can they be had for better?

It takes a long while for these to go down in price considering that they debut at $70.

To me, if I was rebuying I'd say OK.

In the spring, the prices seemed much better for the first 3 maybe 4 seasons. I paid $39.99. If you check a place like amazon and buy from a private seller, the first 4 seasons you can get for less then $30 each brand new.

Wonder if BB will match CC's price for both Bonds? I'd like to get it there for the double reward points. Anyone have luck with this sort of thing with other sales like this?

I'm going to BB on Tuesday to pick up the "Cars" dvd that I put $5 down on in order to get $5 off the Little Mermaid dvd at the time.

Do you think I could put $5 down on "Pirates of the Caribbean II" at the same time and then get $5 off the "Cars" dvd I am picking up and just pay $4.99 for it (after getting $5 off and showing them my $5 I already paid)?

I see no restriction that would prevent that scenario from occuring.

When do Best Buy's early hours start? I remember sometime in November they would open on Tuesdays at 9 AM instead of 10 AM. I want to be there at opening today for the Bond sets (and because I have to be at work by 11 AM). My local store's machine didn't mention any special hours.

I wasn't going to get the Bond sets until someone pointed out the extended return period is now in effect. Woo hoo! I like having more time to be wishy-washy if I see better deals.
