Yeah, I noticed a few minutes ago that it veers away from horror around page 5. Damn home page advertises it as Warner Horror, though.

Isn't 6.98 a great price for the 2-Disc Metallic faceplate edition of Texas Chainsaw 2003?

Some DVDTalkers have found it for $4.88 at Sam's Clubs. However, $6.98 is pretty sweet(I paid $20 for it in 2004).

According to the DVD Times review, it is an open matte transfer.

Beware if you have any interest in picking up Hidden 2 - there is a double feature with both Hidden and Hidden 2 that is usually around 8-10 dollars or so I think.

Same with Them!... it's available on a WB double-feature "budget" release with The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms.

The ones I'm interested in are all $9.98, which is good, but I'm in a $5.52 mood. We'll see if I've given in by next Monday.

That title was $4.88 in Walmart's Halloween display.

I finally picked up Badlands for a decent price. I had been waiting for this one to go on sale for a while.

Check Best Buy's prices before ordering. Things like the 2-disc edition of Blade 2 look good, but Best Buy sells it for a few cents more. Taking into account the Monopoly game is running, you might be able to get a better price at BB if you redeem game stamps with your purchase.

So my Texas Chainsaw 2-Disc Metallic Edition arrived without Metallic anything. It should just be a slipcover right? Now I gotta go through with the exchange or return, who's to say the replacement won't arrive the same way?

I'm assuming you're referring to the remake, in which case the "metallic" cover is just an embossed metal insert that goes on the outside of the packaging. Nothing special, and it's not affixed to the box itself, so I just shoved mine in the packaging.

Shoot, yeah, I meant to mention that I was referring to the remake. Anyway, thanks for the response. I also found the info from the reviews on this site. Looks like I'll be asking for an exchange.
