Hi, this is probably a stupid question, but if you use $20 of funcash on Superman: Ultimate (when it's no longer a preorder) and then pay for the rest, would you get to earn the funcash you'd made spending on a $40-odd boxset, or because you used some funcash, does it void out any extra funcash you'd normally get?

It seems as if everyone is assuming the Superman Ultimate set is going to stay at $59.98 forever at CH. I'm relatively new to CH but I notice there's a 40% off all movie sets deal going on now and when that ends will the SU set still be $59.98?
I decided to go ahead and get it now and I was able to use the most current BOGO and ordered more than three titles so I had free shipping except for the SU set. Also, in case anyone is unaware, the new Forbidden Planet DVD was available as a freebee in the BOGO even though it hasn't been released yet.

It seems to be running around $70 everywhere. I'll go the Amazon route, no sales tax and free shipping that is usually pretty fast. The savings on sales tax is the decision maker for me.

Also, does anybody know what costco price will be on this set? I have a feeling they may be one of the few that will beat the $70 price tag and seriously considerering re-joining with BF coming.

I hope that you are right. I can perhaps slide to Costco between jobs today and post back.

IIRC someone in one of the various Superman threads stated it was going to run $62.xx ..

If the 20 off 50 sale is still going at buy.com (which it apparently will), they will have the cheapest price... But you can't pre-order, unfortunately. Usually they put their titles in stock a day or two early though, so keep monitoring it...

Barnes and Nobles credit card holders can get a pretty decent deal, though it takes some work.
B&N has been sending out 15% off coupons. Apply that to the purchase price. If you're a member, the final price should be around 52 dollars. Check out with the B&N Master Card, and you'll get a rebate that nearly covers shipping. My set's final price was 53 dollars or so.

Well, Amazon just got my business for this set. $69.88 minus a $25 gift certificate that a friend sent me for my birthday (thanks Matt!!!) makes this an unbeatable $44.88.
Can't wait until it arrives!
