I thought there were limits to funcash on Boxsets.

isn't there a limit of fun cash that you can use on box sets?

I always thought you could only use up to $10 in Funcash on boxsets.

Thanks for letting me know. I didn't realize that, but I just checked and everyone is right. I've never used Funcash on a box set, so I've never hit this limitation before. I checked some old notes, and I guess this limitation was introduced in the last year or so to make sure nobody gets too good a deal. Well, there goes that idea. They hardly carry anything I want since they exclude Disney and Fox.

I'm going to be really hard pressed to find 5 individual $20-$25 titles I want at CH before the end of the year, so I'm sure I'll be scraping the dregs to use up my Funcash. MI-3 is the only thing I can think of now.

Well, $69.99 is my new threshold for the Superman Ultimate set. I'm not going to preorder at DDD. If they raise prices, I'll just wait until the price drops. I'd like to get $69.99 - 20% off.

Yep, you can!! That's exactly what I'm going to do once I go to Borders and combine my 2 $25 cards. Make sure you order it from borders.com though, and not Amazon.

I have the same problem. I've got $35 in "fun cash" but since they only let you use $10 towards box sets AND they charge you the full, outrageous list price on all DVDs if you use "fun cash" AND since they always charge you shipping, even when there is a free shipping promotion, because it never applies to the special "fun cash" orders, I can't find any real and valuable use for this cash at all.

It is actually as much "fun" as those equally negligible "fun size" candy bars are!

They will charge you $7.99 shipping for that. As far as I know, you can no longer get free shipping on sets at Columbia House.

Yeah no free shipping for me. But Ive yet to use my $5 off first order yet, and this would fulfill the account, so not a bad deal i guess.

I think discovercard has 5% cashback on amazon, if you signed up on the discover website for it.

Will the Donner cut of S2 be made available separately, or is it exclusive to this set?

Since it is $59.97 it goes over the range for $10 maximum and you can apply $20 funcash on it. Therefore the total for me would be $59.97 - $20 funcash + $7.99 shipping = $47.96!
Pretty good deal.

Btw if the price had been $60 or more you could've applied $30 funcash.

Except it won't let me put it in my Funcash cart. Is that because it is a preorder?

Just went to my local Costco (Ocean, NJ). They will have 60 of them in stock. With a price of $62.79. So even with tax it will be cheaper than most of the etailers.
