I thought there were limits to funcash on Boxsets. |

Since you always pay a penalty (full MSRP) and shipping with CH Funcash, I consider paying $100 of Funcash + $7.99 out of pocket shipping for the Superman Ultimate Collection [assuming CH will carry it] about equal to paying $69.99 delivered from DDD.

I always thought you could only use up to $10 in Funcash on boxsets.

I'm going to be really hard pressed to find 5 individual $20-$25 titles I want at CH before the end of the year, so I'm sure I'll be scraping the dregs to use up my Funcash. MI-3 is the only thing I can think of now. Well, $69.99 is my new threshold for the Superman Ultimate set. I'm not going to preorder at DDD. If they raise prices, I'll just wait until the price drops. I'd like to get $69.99 - 20% off. |
I have a borders gift card and wondering if i can use it on this preorder since border is somehow affiliated with amazon. Thanks

I have the same problem. I've got $35 in "fun cash" but since they only let you use $10 towards box sets AND they charge you the full, outrageous list price on all DVDs if you use "fun cash" AND since they always charge you shipping, even when there is a free shipping promotion, because it never applies to the special "fun cash" orders, I can't find any real and valuable use for this cash at all. It is actually as much "fun" as those equally negligible "fun size" candy bars are! |
Speaking of Columbia House, I see that they now have the preorder of The Ultimate Superman Collector's set for $59.97 with free shipping at the moment,

They will charge you $7.99 shipping for that. As far as I know, you can no longer get free shipping on sets at Columbia House. |
Yeah no free shipping for me. But Ive yet to use my $5 off first order yet, and this would fulfill the account, so not a bad deal i guess.
|
If you have a ch.com account, it would be 59.97 with free shipping
|
Yeah, $60 + Taxes kill the deal :(
|
I think discovercard has 5% cashback on amazon, if you signed up on the discover website for it.

At Barnes&Noble price is $69.98. For members(10% off) pre-order price is $62.98. Most states you pay tax.
|
Will the Donner cut of S2 be made available separately, or is it exclusive to this set?
|
Yes, the Donner Cut will be available seperately.

Pretty good deal. Btw if the price had been $60 or more you could've applied $30 funcash. |
Except it won't let me put it in my Funcash cart. Is that because it is a preorder?

Just went to my local Costco (Ocean, NJ). They will have 60 of them in stock. With a price of $62.79. So even with tax it will be cheaper than most of the etailers.

Hey OP, just a suggestion, we should add exclusives to this thread also to have best deal and exclusives all in one place.
