Placed another order, this time for Fraggle Rock Complete First Season for $23.98. Best price I've seen on this. Used the same account as my first order.

I placed one order for a single title (Charlie's Angels Season 3) with no problems, then picked 5 of the $6 Disney titles which are LISTED as being eligible for free shipping, but none show as much in my cart, which extends to becoming $4 for budget shipping. I see at least one other person who has placed an order comprised solely of the $6 titles, why would mine be different?

Are you sure that you used the same type of shipping for both orders? I had no trouble buying 5 of the $6 titles and getting the free shipping once I changed the shipping option from the default choice to the slowest choice.

Did it show "Budget: 7 to 9 business days ($3.70)" before you pressed the "Place your order now $XX.XX" button? Did it say free shipping on the next screen?

Yes, but I can't tell you what it will say on the next screen since I don't plan on pressing the "Buy it for $23.70" button when I don't want to pay the $3.70. I can't even imagine trying to get THAT sorted out.

For some reason, my cart within Buy itself is not registering the items as eligible for free shipping (no red truck icon by each item), and the shipping shows up as $3.70 if I start to checkout from Buy, too.

Sorry I was asking Peep I did a test and tried with the JBL On-Time Time Machine iPod Clock radio and the free shipping shows up right away. Hmmm, bummer, I guess no free shipping on those dvds...

Superman the Ultimate collection is listed there now for 77.40. It's not eligible for free shipping though. I wonder how that price will compare to everywhere else.

Wow, I see now that the Free Shipping icons have been completely removed from any pages pertaining to these sale titles. I guess we were just a few minutes too late.

What's the cheapest item with free shipping that you guys have been able to find? There's a DS game or two I might pick up, but they are all around $28 and $29.

I've already done this once, My Name Is Earl S1, but I might do it again. That Rushmore CC sure is tempting!

Holy crap.

You guys who don't have that yet, buy it right now. The DDD price AFTER the 20% off discount only matches the normal $35 price on Buy. To get that set for $25.29 is just awesome.

Very tempting sale even with CD Universes high shipping. Mostly because they have the $25.00 Case Closed movie for $10.20. Considering the following purchase, as it would still work out cheaper than other places. Considering the CC movie is $17-$18 at Buy.Com and DVDEmpire.

DVD Case Closed - The Movie: The Time Bombed Skyscraper Usually ships in 1-2 days $10.20
DVD Texas Chainsaw Massacre Usually ships in 1 day $20.99

Adjust the quantity and select the button to update Subtotal: $31.19
Standard U.S. Shipping: $4.99

Total: $36.18 - 10.00 = $26.18

I think I'll find something that's a better deal than Texas Chainsaw Massacre though. Considering it's $19.99 in the stores and the crummy shipping the deal is pretty much rendered moot.

Picked up Lost Season 2 ($30.99) and Battlestar Galactica 2.0 ($25.99) from buy.com, and Battlestar Galactica 2.5 ($27.43) from DVD Empire.

Not super great pricing, but I really wanted those sets.

I tried to recreate my original (free shipping) order and can confirm that the free shipping has been stripped off of all of the DVDs that I had bought before. Guess I'm not making a second purchase.

There's also some Masters of Horror titles for $9.99 each:

http://www.buy.com/retail/category.asp?loc=62973

Of course, three won't equal $30 so you'll need to add something else in.
