Makes me sick how much they ruined this movie. I think they would have been much better off giving the movie to a director who at least cares about the source material.

If I remember correctly, collector's edition is same as the regular edition except that it also comes with a book - not an extra disc

Yes, the only extra is a 100 (I believe) page comic.

OT but Da Vinci Code is the same price.

It's now $13.99 for the 1 disc. The Stan Lee 2 discer is still $23.99.

Costco will have the 2-disc for $23 and some change.

You guys are missing the point made above: the collector's edition is not a 2-discer, it just has a comic book extra.

Before making "X-Men" Bryan Singer had never read an issue of the comics in his life and requested tapes of all the animated series episodes to watch to learn about it. It's certainly not as if he was some huge "X-Men" fan before he made his films.

They are making a 2disc SE for the movie.

Any idea when it will be released?
