Confirmation e-mail that rebate was submitted?
Has anyone received a confirmation e-mail that rebate was accepted? I thought it read like they send a confirmation e-mail and will follow up with one when the check is mailed? Did I imagine that?

I never got any kind of confirmation email either....

I was going to post the same question. I never received any e-mail after submitting codes for the $10 rebate.

Has anyone received a confirmation? I submitted my form for $30.00 back (thanks to a member here, and a guy from work, bumping me from $10.00 back, to $30.00 back). At any rate, the statement, after submitting the rebate, says that a confirmation E-mail would be sent confirming that the rebate has been received, and a second one when the rebate check was sent out. I have not received any confirmation of even submitting the rebate.

I purchased my copy of Lost S2 from Best Buy B&M and it came with NO CODE. Didn't realize there was this offer, until my copy of Grey's Anatomy arrived today from Amazon, with the insert.
If anyone out there has a spare code for any season but Grey's, I'd really appreciate it. I don't know Best Buy well enough to know if they'd take back an opened Lost S2 in exchange for one with an insert (if they have any that is!) THANKS! Melissa |
I called Buena Vista, today, and spoke with a very nice lady. She took my information, put me on hold, and contacted the lady who handles rebate submissions. She came back, and said that she passed on my information to this lady, and as of right now, they don't have specifics about when we will get an E-mail. She stated that they would return my call when they had the information, and to give them a couple of days. So, hopefully, at least, we have someone looking into the situation.

I think a lot of people are in the same spot. I would rather buy another one of the other 3 before wasting my money buying CIF, even if it does get me the last $10!!

Has anyone else tried to use the rebate site in the past couple of days? I've tried from multiple PC's in multiple locations with no luck-just hangs.

Is everyone aware that the codes are case sensitive?

I entered mine in lower case (the site finally became available for me), and after I saved them, they appeared in upper case. I wonder if entering them in lower case and not clicking save codes before submitting results in the problem.

I called Buena Vista, again, yesterday, and I spoke with another lady. She said that the issue was being looked into by the lady in Rebate Submissions. So, she put me on hold, contacted that lady, and then came back. She told me that the lady in Rebate Submissions is waiting for word from another department as to why E-mails were not being generated when we were submitting the rebates. She did say that if the rebate went through, without generating an error message, then we will be fine. However, she stated that once she received confirmation from the department she was waiting on, she would let me know. I'll keep you all updated, as much as I can.

I still need another code if anyone else has one they'd like to give me. I don't check these message boards often, so miss whenever someone says to send an email to get one.
