$23 and change for La Dolce Vita is a pretty decent buy.

DVD Description
What would happen if people could be turned into zombies simply by answering their cell phones? Find out in ELECTRIC ZOMBIES, a film that explores the horror that could erupt if modern-day technology got into the wrong hands.

Hmmm....

Hmmm....

Yes, that does sound familiar, doesn't it?

Which reminds me ....
The only tempting item on those sales is THE KINGDOM (the original, not the Stephen King rip-off)

This one sounds like a classic

Back Woods ~

After 300-pound cross-dressing redneck Luther's (David C. Hayes) mother is murdered by partying teens, he calls on the powerful hermaphroditic forest spirit Mangina to set him on a bloody trail of vengeance.

Are any of those horror flicks NOT shot on video? I'm getting kind of tired of the SOV horror cheapies that really stink - but I have no idea what these ones are.

I only wanted to suggest that you take a look at Diane Kurys' Children of the Century, a visual bliss of a film. The transfer is very slightly lacking but it is the only English-friendly version of the film and for less than 9$ a highly-recommended pick.

Well, I just love this film!

Ciao,
Pro-B

I've been holding off on the Pee's Playhouse sets for a while. This looks like the time to get all 4 of those releases.

Are new Pee Wee's Playhouse DVD in the works still? If not, these are a steal at $19 a piece.

Last time I checked, no word at all on the promised new Pee Wee sets. I just ordered both V1 and V2 plus the original PWH Show disc and all three were out of stock.

Hmm, the prices for the Pee-Wee's Playhouse DVDs have gone back up although they were supposed to be on sale through 8/28.

Anyone else get the feeling with all these Pee Wee sales going around that those new sets might be a little bit closer?

NOOOOOO! I was waiting to order till the last day to put off paying for them...Damn, I'm going to email CS...not that I expect it to do any good.

Edit: CS said "sorry sucker, the price is now 26.99". So, I said "thanks but no thanks". Sometimes DDD just pisses you off, but they dont really care because they know they will have your 300 dollars come sale time...just one look at your account tells them so.

I know they have disclaimers that say "prices subject to change blah blah blah", but it seems wrong to mark a sale as ending on the 28th and then end it several days sooner. I was waiting to make my order and now I wont be ordering anything. Cartoon network will supply my peewee until I find it again at this price or cheaper.
