It was probably just a remainder from the last time they sold these.

May as well delete this thread or mark it "Dead" to avoid getting too many people's hopes up.

My hopes were already down because I had paid nearly $100 for it many years ago.

OK, here's the next best deal for this.

Go to fleaBay, search for this item and look at the auctions by a seller with A&E in the name (yes, it's that A&E). Bid $38. You will lose the auction. But when it ends they will send you a 2nd chance offer for $38 (free shipping). For more info, there's a thread at Slickdeals.net.

PS the auctions come and go, you have to stay on top of them or save your search as a favorite and ask for emailed daily updates.

OK, I give up! How do you go to fleabay. I keep getting a windows login box that I can't get past, with no way to register...

Lol! To to to "fleabay" remove the "fl" and the first "a" when you type in the URL.

Is that deal for real? Man, too good to be true, not an April fool's joke?

Yep, I was one that got in on a price mistake. I think only one other person in the forum spoke up about also getting it. Crazy. And most definitely the best deal I'll probably ever get

I can't find shit. Lotta Python sets out there but none with A&E in the seller name.

Stop rubbing it in. I got it for $80 but still consider it a good deal.

The eBai listing they use is exactly: A&E MONTY PYTHONS FLYING CIRCUS MEGA SET 14 DVD SET NEW

They last sold one on 8-9-2006. Like I said, they list this sporadically. You have to keep checking.

Regarding best deals, I think a free BBC Charles Dickens boxset came from Overstock.com a year or so ago..

You know that that zip+4 still gives a pretty specific picture about where you live, right?

Ah. Okay, thanks. I'll keep an eye out (whenever I remember).

As long as it's not EXACTLY specific

In your case... the name of the street (it's only a couple of blocks long...) and the fact that you live on the even numbered side of it. Just thought you'd like to know. ;-)
