first time posting here... but basaro, i also ordered the KITH dvds from A&E and my S2/D1 disc also has that pop in the skit. maybe it's just poor DVD mastering? just thought i'd let you know, cause that would annoy me too. still $30 bucks is better than $100. thanks MovieExchange for clueing me in.

Kids in the Hall is sooo tempting...

Anyone know anything about this Cell Block tv show? It looks interesting but the dvd looks like a compilation of a bunch of different episodes compared to being season one etc.

Thinking about getting KitH S1 and 2 as a blind buy. Just wondering if someone could compare it to some other show or movie to see if it would be to my liking as I've never seen a single episode of the show.
Also thinking about Supercar since I thought Thunderbirds was an alright show, but this would be a blind buy too. So, I don't know. Anybody who likes Supercar?

Supercar is a more juvenile series than Thunderbirds, and the modelwork and puppets aren't as detailed, but it's still fun if watched in small doses. The charcters are rather stereotyped, with a gee-whiz young kid, an absent-minded professor, and a baddie with an Eastern European accent. The transfer is absolutely spotless, much better than the transfers on Thunderbirds, apart from the scenes that use back projection.

Good News : My package arrived this morning, just more than 24 hrs after ordering it -- A new record!

Bad News : Whoever did the packaging neglected to include two of the three items I ordered in the shipment, forgetting to ship 67% of my order -- Another new record!

I wouldn't worry yet. I received a shipping confirmation e-mail much later, but no order confirmation e-mail & my KITH sets arrived before 10am yesterday. Also ordered backordered Courageous Cat. Wonder if I'll get it...

Thanks for the info, and welcome to the forum!

I didn't find notice any more issues with the rest of Disc 1 and 2. Haven't started disc 3 yet.

I placed my order before i saw anything about a free shipping coupon so mine is being shipped with the super saver option (which was free). I actually got 3 emails confirming my order but nothing saying it had shipped. Hopefully they show up soon. I snagged the two Kids in the Hall sets as well as 2 documentaries to possibly use in my classroom.

The backordered Courageous Cat set arrived this morning - much quicker than expected. --Now what the heck was I thinking? I got it for nostalgia. I remember watching it on WPIX when I was very young. But 12 hours!? I think this is a very rare case where a Best Of or even a bonus feature on a Batman movie would have sufficed...

Just thought I would let everyone know that A&E also listed these titles on eBay with prices starting at $0.99 with free shipping. Most of them are going at pretty low prices.

A&E Ebay Store

EDIT: Didn't notice the reserve...maybe not such a good deal

Looks like the DVDs have reserve prices so we're not getting these for .99

Just got KITH 1,2 via free Fed Ex Overnight, and both came in good shape. They look fine, aren't crushed in anyway, and were packaged with those damn pillows.

Thanks, OP!

Just a FYI. I made a bid for $25.02 for the Complete Mr. Bean (not the animated show, with free shipping and a $10 giftcard to aande.com) and it did not meet the reserve. The auction ended with me as the highest bidder at $21.50. They emailed me a second chance to buy it for $21.50. Not a bad deal IMHO. I haven't decided yet though. They gave me 3 days to decide. What do you guys think? Cheapest online is DDD with almost $30.
Just thought some of you would want to bid on some auctions in order to get a 2nd chance offer. Worth a try.
