I myself bought the first week for more money and I'm a bit stunned that it's dropped that quickly.
The Video Game list is the same as last week as it is a list of POTENTIALLY available titles. I'm sure that when Circuit Cities across America open this morning, it will be an utter madhouse with people vying for any or all of those games in that extensive list.

I remember when I went crazy when DVDs first came out and Circuit City and Montgomery Ward had $14.99 sales... I must've bought about 60 movies @ $14.99 each in one evening. Now I look back and think what a waste of money, but I was used to paying $30 for laserdiscs so it seemed like a great deal. I can barely bring myself to pay more than $6 for any DVD now. Whenever I occasionally cave in and pay more than $6 (such as Starship Troopers SE for $9.99 in November 2005 or Groundhog Day for $7.50 in January) I usually regret it in about 6 months. The magic thing about $6 is that $4.88 (or on rare occasions $3.88) is pretty much the extent of the price drops.

$7.99 for Jak 3 and Killzone is not a bad price, though.

$7.99 is a really great price for the terrific Good Night And Good Luck.
Next best price to that is DDD's 12.49.
Hopefully CC will have enough stock of it to last more than only the first hour on Sunday (as they sometimes tend to do... )

Was going to go for the Empire Records (SE) but looks like it's a POS snapper case. I don't have much in terms of buying policy, but I refuse to pay $10 for one of those. < $5, maybe. Hopefully they'll re-release it in a keep case at some point.
I may go ahead an nab Good Night and Good Luck for that price though...
In any case, great job once again Speedy!

So it's best to check there if you see something of interest in the weekly ad.

Also, thank you Speedy for always posting these ads and answering questions. I was told about these posts on another forum a few months back and they have been incredibly helpful ever since. Thank you!

Time to pick up Kameo, I think.
Oh, and I picked up Simpsons Season 7 (Marge head) at Circuit City on 7/3. They had 8 copies sitting on the shelves, so I couldn't pass it up, even at the full $40 price. Going to have to try and get them to give me back the difference. Hopefully they don't throw a fit, as the marge head and normal box have different UPCs and they could have only placed the normal box on sale...

I was able to get the Simpsons season 7 Marge head this morning, at the sale price.
I called last night to see if they had any/could hold one and expected to go in this morning and have it be the wrong box or not on sale (website did not have the sale price listed when I checked). Not only was it the head on sale but they had a bunch of other copies as well. Two on a shelf behind the service desk, two on an endcap display and one more on the shelf with the other seasons!
I thought this was supposed to be limited and running out? They didn't even have any of the regular box for season 7, just the head.
So if anyone is near Springfield, MA and is looking for the Marge head, the Circuit City has 5 copies left in stock.
I guess I got lucky on this. Thanks again Speedy for the heads up on this sale!

I picked up Pirates of the Caribbean and Batman Begins. I'm tired of waiting on Warner to release the HD DVD version of Batman...I have a feeling that a second after I've opened and placed the disc in my player an announcement will be made =/ Oh well...it's only $8
Also want to pick up Empire Records: Remix! Special Fan Edition this week.
