this was a Best Buy exclusive but it's still the original single disc edition.

They had a similar bonus disc with Man on Fire.

Says free shipping on everything in the ad this week. But when you go to the $14.99 dvd sets, they have apparantly not changed the prices yet.

Saw that this morning and went there just a bit ago and they have finally changed them. Now they have to do that with some of the others 6.99, etc.

Wish some of the other seasons were on sale too like Time Tunnel S1 v2 and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea S2. Later this week I will check the B&M and, maybe, hopefully.

Ordering online just worked for me ( finally ) - I picked up "Napoleon Dynamite" for $6.99 with the free shipping ( $7.50-something total ) .

That saves me a trip tomorrow...

The sale prices were in the system, but when he scanned the coupon, I am not sure it automatically worked. However, he pressed a few buttons and it was fine. No hassles at all.

I was at the store at 10:30 yesterday and spent 5 minutes waiting for the computer to be overridden to get the advertised price. The clerk said "none" of the ad prices had been entered into the computer yet.

Ditto. $7.58 shipped for Napoleon Dynamite in NYC. Finally some free shipping from Best Buy, and a great price for ND.

I'd be jumping on some of the other $4.99 and $6.99 titles like Office Space, Ice Age, Edward Scissorhands, but I already have the ones I want from those selections. And for some reason, some of the $4.99 titles, like The Sandlot, do not have free shipping currently. I presume it's a mistake.

Thanks

Thank you for the heads up about this sale. I went in there yesterday and scored NYPD Blue Season 03 for $14.99. I consider this a great deal since I just paid $22+ for Season 02 at the DDD sale.

I was able to score the Fox TV sets for $13.50 each using the 10% off coupon without any problem.

Do you get the lenticular cover on Day After Tomorrow if you order it with free shipping or do you need to do the in-store pickup? Also, does the widescreen version have the lenticular cover? Thanks!

That cover is long gone. I am surprised that the op was able to still find one. Fox disco'd that cover immediatley after the first run. Nice find though. It has probably been sitting in the backroom or something.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like he lucked out. I didn't really care much for the movie, but at that price if it had the cover it would have been a good deal.

I picked up This is Spinal Tap this afternoon for $6.99, but did notice that the Napolean Dynamite Collector's Edition dvd for $6.99 did not have the lenticular slipcase. Is this standard practice for BB to remove the lenticular slipcase (or is the lenticular slipcase limited)? It seemed peculiar to me for what it's worth...

Picked up Doctor Who shortly after they opened. They only had one copy, so I'm glad I got there when I did.

I know what you mean! I actually went to ...now no hissing... FYE first, since they had an online $10 rebate (no FYE rebate hissing, I know) and priced at $69.99, so thought with backstage Pass + $10 rebate in-store, if they had it. But NO! all sold out and none until maybe, maybe, next Wed, over a week away.

Went to Best Buy and they had none, TV DVD slot was EMPTY! only the sale placard and an empty hole and none, not even a space for it in New Releases. Went to a second BB a couple miles away and saw the prominently displayed New Release section, only ONE copy. Grabbed it, shook it, none loose -- It was mine! Hooray! PM'd with Fry's $59.99 and added in my $20 Reward Cert and I was golden happy (Picked up Voyage as well for $14.99)

Thanks Speedy for making my day as your early ad allowed me to check and plan ahead! Keep up the excellent work. It is really appreciated and helps plan ahead to work out the best deals.

None of the copies of the Napolean Dynamite Collector's Edition has a slipcase at my store - just the ugly "Vote for Pedro" cover.
