Best Eight Below Price?

I checked the ads from Sunday but didn't see any prices. Just wondering who has the best price on this movie.

In the coupon section last Sunday there was a $3 off mail-in-rebate for this movie, with the purchase of two Ortega products (was good for either Eight Below or Glory Road).

And I saw from another thread that Fry's will have it for $12.99, but there are no Fry's near me. I've got Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, Wal-Mart, etc.

Thanks!

Edited to change the word "coupon" to "mail-in-rebate".

You didn't see any prices in the ads?

That's why I post my weekly threads my friend!

Best Bet appears to be Circuit City at (most likely $13.99) or Target or Best Buy at $16.99.

The dark horse should be Wal*Mart (and this is in it's favor as Eight Below is a family friendly film) which in my area I'm betting will be $12.50 or $13.50.

Here's the link to my Circuit City post.

http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthread.php?t=468367

At the bottom of each post is links to my Best Buy and Target ads for the same period.

I think I'll be buying this title at Best Buy because of the free Pirates of the Caribbean movie ticket.

But check them out.

Why not PM whichever store is cheapest at Best Buy and get a Pirates of the Caribbean 2 movie ticket and Dumbo for $9.99 (also has a $3 mail-in-rebate when you buy 2 jars of Francesco Rinaldi pasta sauce).
Oh, and it is not a coupon for Eight Below. It is a MIR.

That's what I'm going to do. Not sure if a PM will be succesful...what do you need for that. Another stores ad?

$13.99 at CC seems to be your best bet. I know that's where i'll be headed.

I saw your threads, and they are very good threads and thanks for making them, but for some reason for this movie the ads were ambiguous.

Circuit City: $13.99 plus free keychain

Best Buy: $16.99, plus if you get Dumbo ($16.99?) you get $6 off, plus ticket to see Pirates of the Caribbean 2 (up to $7).

Target: $16.99

Wal-Mart: $14.50 (at one store at least, apparently Wal-Mart has slightly different prices for different regions)

Fry’s: $12.99

Don’t forget the $3 off mail-in-rebate through Ortega and there's apparently a spaghetti sauce $3 MIR out there too (on the package maybe?).

Has anybody price matched Circuit City's price at Best Buy? I'm not sure if they'll do it since the ad doesn't have a price on it. OK, it does say $13.99, but with an arrow pointing at Syriana. I'm guessing YMMV on this price-matching attempt.

I certainly agree with you as far as the Circuit City ad goes.

I hope I didn't offend you. Just trying to help.

I'm planning to go to Circuit City later to price match with Frys (I have the Frys ad and there's one nearby). Does anyone know if I can still get the free keychain with a price match?

It would depend on your cashier I would think.

Best Buy usually discourages the freebies but I've never tried at Circuit City.

I did a PM at Best Buy. didn't want any arguments due to the free movie ticket. So, I bought it first together with Dumbo and brought in the receipt to match CC and got it for $13.69. With the $9 MIRs available I got Dumbo for $3.99 and Eight Below for $10.69

The spaghetti sauce rebate is for Dumbo (Francesco Rinaldi) and not Eight Below.
I PM'ed at BB. I just had them call CC to confirm the price and got it for $13.69
