This is my first order. I may make one more smaller one tomorrow for the Tennessee Williams Collection, John Ford/John Wayne Collection and "The World's Fastest Indian". Possibly "Freaks and Geeks". I'm going off to college in the fall and figured I could afford this one last indulgence - but I'm really going to have to cut back on my purchases (and it will be heartbreaking.)

DUCKTALES V.01 $ 19.11 1 $ 19.11
STAR WARS-EPISODE 1: PHANTOM MENAC $ 11.03 1 $ 11.03
THE RETURN $ 16.77 1 $ 16.77
CASTLE OF CAGLIOSTRO $ 7.97 1 $ 7.97
HARRY POTTER CHAMBER OF SECRETS $ 9.58 1 $ 9.58
CHAPLIN COLLECTION V.01 $ 46.42 1 $ 46.42
CHAPLIN COLLECTION V.02 $ 60.48 1 $ 60.48
PARIS, TEXAS $ 5.74 1 $ 5.74
STAR WARS 2: ATTACK OF THE CLONES (WS) $ 13.32 1 $ 13.32
TOTAL: $190.42

Did anyone else get the DDD Postcard sized mailer advertising the 20% off sale with a unique promo code? Just wondering, I assume I got on the list from last years sale.

Would this be the Criterion version of GOODBURGER? I have been looking for that for a long time.

i had that in my cart with 6 other X-files sets this morning, then i made the mistake of shopping around a bit more. then when i got back to my cart, the price changed! i called customer service immediately but they didn't seem to understand that the price increased about $7 in the same morning! so, i just ordered the other sets and skipped season 5 for now. hopefully, DDD will lower the price back down. if not, amazon still has this for under $25...not as great as $22 but better than $27 after the 20% discount.

I ordered all the X-Files sets. One of them charged me the more expensive price. I emailed them and they said they would issue the credit. Very easy. If you are worried about them going out of stock before the price is corrected, go ahead and order them, and send an email or call.

I would imagine they've sold out of Inferno, and since it's OOP now, they've removed the title from their database.

Hmm, do you have Dawson's Creek S6 or were you ever going to pick it up? If so, I would suggest cancelling the series finale from your order as it is included in S6. Just a heads up!

After three small orders (totalling approximately $90), I decided to throw one more C-note at this sale:

DDKCH003034D THE FIVE OBSTRUCTIONS 1 $11.17
DDKCH003017D IN JULY 1 $11.17
DDCOL008560D AFTERGLOW 1 $4.78
DDSRV002411D HEAD-ON (GEGEN DIE WAND) 1 $14.36
DDIMA000592D UNSEEN CINEMA-EARLY AMERICAN AVANT 1 $58.51

When I added these to my cart and saw that the total after discount was $99.99, I knew it was fate.

I'm bummed I ordered X-Files S2, 3, and 4 on friday for 29.27 each. I called DDD and they would only credit the difference between 29.27 (with 20% off) to 27.85 with no 20% off. For a total credit of $4.26 for all three seasons. I could understand if the 20% off sale was over or I was pricematching another company to their prices but this bugs me. If they would apply the 20% off to the new price it would save me $20.97 almost the cost of another season.

Thank you.
I love the Masters of Horror DVDs. Each episode is like an hour-long movie and the discs are loaded down with extras. In addition to the making-of, each one has a "Working With A Master" doc that covers the career of the director. These are totally worth the price if you're a horror movie geek, especially with the 20% off sale.

So, today was the estimated shipdate on my order (on which I paid for 2-day shipping, and was charged for it). And, just as I thought, it didn't actually *ship* until today. In fact, it still hasn't shipped according to UPS, as the tracking number only says "Billing information has been received", meaning it will be picked up next time UPS is at DDD.

I wouldn't be even slightly miffed about this if I hadn't paid for shipping. I've never ever complained about the two weeks it takes DDD media mail to get to me. Also, the fact that they email that things are shipped when they are actually "packed" is kind of misconstrued.

Sorry to vent, and I'll be placing another order tomorrow, but it is something that needs to be addressed within DDD if it continues to happen.

I placed a massive first order, which was automatically upgraded to UPS (thanks DDD), but same problem. Said it was shipped out on Saturday, still no UPS tracking

I think a ship date of Saturday for two business day would be a delivery date Tuesday not Monday. Since Sunday is still not counted.

However I believe you should try and see if they will refund you your shipping costs. It did not arrive two days from the shipping notice (assuming does not arrive tomorrow).

You'll definitely enjoy Nip/Tuck but I do think the show "jumped the shark" after Season 2. Just my 2 cents.
