So, here we go:
Congratulations! I'm getting married in September as well, and like you, I'm the only one looking at the bank statement at the moment Luckily, this sale will pretty much finishes off my Want List (with the exeption of the Kubrick SE's that come out later this year and the rest of Standalone Complex 2nd Gig). The best to you, sir!

I've only used a debit card in the past and think it's kept me from going overboard with purchases. I'd imagine the interest rates alone would've negated the savings over the course of time. Debt's no fun, either.
I always use a credit card. And pay it off in full every month. Never any interest. Plus cash back with Discover.

You could always just pay the bill when you get it. Just because you can make minimum payments doesn't mean you have to. That way you essentially get an interest-free loan for a month until the bill is due. That's how I handle my credit cards because I can't stand debt. I'd much rather do that than deal with debit cards and have to worry about mis-charges being automatically deducted from your bank account and have to fight to get your money returned. Debit cards have always scared for that reason. If there is a mistake on your credit card bill, you can usually fix the problem before the bill is due and you usually don't have to pay for a disputed item while it is being investigated.
