Essential Steve Mcqueen Collection?

Hey everyone.
I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the Steve Mcqueen set for 30 or less, online or not, other than Costco or Sam's Club.
I went by costco today and they didn't have any of the rumored sets on sale except the Marx bros. one which I snagged.
Thanks for your help...

Will Best Buy price match with Sam's Club (if you are not a member) doubtful, but figured I'd ask anyway (don't figure they'll PM with Costco since we don't have one here)

probably not since they don't PM "Membership clubs" but YMMV. Plus you need an ad

You can also use dvdpricesearch.com to compare prices. It doesn't have everything, but I think it's worthwhile.

I think it's YMMV on BB/CC/Fry's PMing a Sam's or Costco as all the ones in my area do it.

Technically according to their website's fully written out "instore price guarantee", there is nothing to say they won't...though I called my BB and they said they don't do wholesale stores.

I picked this up at Fye today for $26.99. I thought for sure that it was a pricing mistake, but then I saw here in the forum that other places like Sam's, Costco, and DVDPacific had this even cheaper a few weeks ago. Oh well.

I didn't even really want it that badly, but when I see a pretty good deal I usually jump on it. I've never seen any of the films but I've heard Bullitt is fantastic. Anyway, for those that don't have a Sam's or Costco membership you should be able to find this at your local Fye.

All you'll need is a proof of that price, or go to cust. service and ask them to call sam's club.

Actually, they pricematch 'advertised' prices. Meaning, if it's not in the ad, it'll be tough.

Can it be speedy1961's post? That's sorta like an ad.

(Surprisingly) Suncoast has got it for the same price. Couldn't resist that!

If you're talking about the MGM McQueen set, I'd steer clear. There are several outdated movies in that set (The Magnificent Seven and The Great Escape if I recall correctly). Unless you don't mind owning the older versions.

Not true:

What is considered "verifiable proof" of price?
The best way to show proof of price is to bring in the competitor's current ad, which shows the price of the item you wish us to match and the dates for which the price is valid. If the current ad is not available, we reserve the right to call the competitor's store to verify the lower price and availability of the item.
Well, it CAN be 'tough,' I won't contest that part
(but the advertised thing is BS, as their own policy states here)

Just a bump in case anyone is interested in this set. It's available right now for $21.92 shipped from familyvideo.com.

I reluctantly passed this set up yesterday at Fye for $26.99 (which would be about $30 after tax), but couldn't pass it up at this price.

A must order for me. Thanks a lot. Bullitt alone still goes for $20+ most places.

This deal is still active for those interested. Look at post 20.
