So the sale is over? that really sucks, I was looking forward to buying a whole bunch of stuff, does anyone know of a forum that is just 100% dedicated to the buy 2 get 1 sale, i frequent this message board often but I didn't see anything about the sale until now, oh well my fault.

I don't think it's that ridiculous of a question, some of us only buy movies and games when that sale is going on, sorry I said it I guess!

It is ridiculous. How is anyone going to create and maintain an entire forum about a sale that sporadically happens?

Two things: 1) You win some and you lose some in this heady game of saving money on dvds (I was too late to my local gamestop as well, and who knows what treasures I missed); and 2) classic wisdom: Don't argue with stupid people (or in this case a "cool new member"), they will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I picked up fresh prince also, but they only had seasons 2 and 3. But my season 2 was 14.99.

Anyways, shouldnt you have picked up the discount card? You spent $127 there, you'd just need to spend $23 more, or trade in $23 more in a year to get your money back.

I actually do have a discount card , I just didnt have the receipts in front of me at the time to put the discounts.

GS employees themselves typically don't know of the sale until mere days before it starts.

My guess is that if there will be another one in the immediate future, it will be on July 4th for one day only.

Currently the latest Game Informer magazine has a B2G1F coupon in it, but to use it you have to have an EB or GS 10% off card.

Bummer. I must have missed it and thrown it out (unless it is an issue that has just come out and I haven't received it yet).

It's in the issue with "Need for Speed: Carbon" on it. I think I'm going to tear out the coupon and leave it in my glove compartment, since last time this happened, and i found something, I didn't have the coupon with me.

The coupon is valid through 7/31.

One of the guys at my local EB told me that in their latest package of promo signs they had a new batch of B2G1F. He says a sale could be coming up soon, maybe as early as kicking off on July 4th or 5th. I'll be checking in with him on Monday night to see if there's any news.

do not expect this 4th of july weekend. they release an ad already running from June 30-July 4 and no B2G1F.

Yeah, he said they might spring it as an unadvertised sale on the 4th, but more likely it'll start sometime during the week after the 5-day sale ends.
