Up to 25% off @ suncoast.com/samgoody.com

I know their prices are usually high, but there are some good deals to be found at the moment:
Save 25% on order $100+ with code 05SAVE25
Save 20% on orders $50+ with code 05SAVE20
Save 15% on orders $25+ with code 05SAVE15
They have MANY items on sale for 20% off currently. These discounts ARE STACKABLE!!! The 20% off titles advertised are all Marvel titles, Steve Martin titles, and Musicals, but many pre-orders are discounted as well. Sale ends May 30th.

The titles he mentioned are already on sale and these codes will work on them, as well. There's some decent prices on some upcoming stuff if you find that section.

OP mentioned that the codes are stackable, does anyone know how? I have been trying and can't get them to stack.

He said the discounts were stackable. My guess is that he meant that the code will stack on top of the sale price.

Ah. That would make sense. I was hoping that they would all stack

I never had a problem with them. They don't use much packing material, but they use boxes that fit your order (ie, they dont toss DVD's in a box in which they will rattle around). The only thing I don't like is that pre-orderes will hold your entire order up until all titles are available. But their shipping prices aren't too terrible. $2.50 for one, $4.51 for up to 3, $6.66 for up to 5, $9.68 for up to 8, etc...

This deal just got a whole lot hotter! FREE SHIPPING + 25% OFF TODAY ONLY!!! The 15/20/25% off codes end TODAY, but FREE SHIPPING starts today!!! I am glad I procrastinated my order! I just got 25% off and free shipping!!! There are a few good deals. Beavis and Butthead v2 is $20.99, Star Trek Fan Collective Q is $20.99, Napoleon Dynamite 2D is $14.24, Crimson Tide/Con Air/Enemy of the State are all $14.99 and "might" come with Pirates of the Caribbean movie cash, and more! These prices are all after the 25% discount... If you have gift cards to blow, this is as good as it gets for Suncoast. I've never seen 25% off and free shipping before...

Where do you live that sales tax is six and two-thirds percent?

I'm bummed I missed this. When checking for new posts every few days, somehow I missed this and didn't notice it until the day AFTER the sale is over. They have free shipping still, but I guess the coupon codes are gone. I do have some gift cards I've been trying to use since Christmas, and it's really difficult because Suncoast prices are so high. For instance, if a new release is $13.99 at most stores, do I pay $6 more just so I can use my gift card at Suncoast?

There really aren't any currently available titles I want, but if I could've gotten free shipping + 25% off on some preorders, I would've gone nuts if I had known. For instance, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid 2-DVD SE is listed at $14.99. If I had ordered yesterday that would've been 25% off + free shipping or $11.24 + tax. That's better than anywhere else, but I missed it.

You mean 6.25%... I actually pulled out a calculator to see what the heck you were talking about.
For instance, start with $10. 25% off makes it $7.50. 20% off would have been $8.00. The difference is 50 cents. 0.50/8.00=0.0625
Anyway, I agree with your point. It isn't merely a 5% difference, since tax is added to the discounted price... But 6.25% is a common tax rate... This was a fun exercise! LOL

Dang, I missed that one. That is one of my favorite movies, too...

Posting the deal at 7pm doesn't give most of us that much time...but from what I saw, their prices sucked ass. Oh well. There's always DDD this month.

Actually, I mean six and two-thirds percent.

A 25% discount, plus 6.25% sales tax would be:

1.0625 * (Price * 0.75)

Example:

$100

1.0625 (100 * 0.75)= 1.0625 (75) = $79.6875 or $79.69

not

$80

which would be:

1.06666666666666666 * (100 * 0.75)
= 1.0666667 * 100
= 80

Sorry. Math major/math teacher/all-around nerd here.

It's NJ and it's 6%. I was just using 20% as a quick reference.
