Well it is $300 off and a very good brand... Likely to move out very quick as part of the holiday special.

Do a google search on the make and model or go to Amazon and do the same for some reviews.

It should come up rather easily.

And add memory.

I personally hate Celerons. I tried to run off one once and almost went crazy. It's death for multitasking.

But, if your doing basic word processing and just surfing the net, it would be fine.

You get what you pay for. Just don't expect to be able to run many programs. It really depends on the selected major too. For example, if your going into design, architecture, the arts, computers, etc., it just wont cut it.

But for basic everyday minimal basic things, it should be ok.

Well, picked up the seasons to complete the Friends collection, now all I need is for WB to offer the box again... Also grabbed season two of Lois & Clark while I was there.

Anyways, thanks again goes to Speedy

Warner Rebate
Thanks, we still have a month before this rebate expires and right now all I have are 4 titles, so I'm trying to get two more eligible ones before the next month is over, but I don't want any Friends DVDS and all I see on the horizon are just the animated shows.

Anyone know of any WB rebates for the animated shows (i.e. Superman TAS, Batman TAS or JLA/JLU?)

I'm not sure if this applies to all Best Buys but there was a flyer w/coupon taped at the counter. It was for Memorial Day... 10% off one item for military personnel (active/reserve/retired) and, I believe, they were including police and firemen.

This was at the Chula Vista location (where I finally picked up Friends S10).

Edit: Okay, I now see the coupon on their website... so it's everywhere. I guess they had a copy at the counter incase you forgot/missed the coupon.

FYI: It looks like the 2 Day Specials are available online as well. I was able to find the eMachines Tower which they have bundled with a monitor by itself which knocks $115 OFF the price. I chose in-store pickup.

What are the chances that this will go thru? Google "emachines t3422" and that brings up the page with only with the CPU (kb, spkrs, mouse). I really don't want/need another monitor.

Right, you can get that tower for $215 plus tax. Order it now, sale ends tonight. They'll honor it when you go to pick it up.

Exactly what I did. Confirmation and pick-up notice e-mails were received within the hour of submitting order.

"Please pick up your item(s) within 8 days to avoid cancellation."

I agree. The celerons can hardly keep up with processing of HD Quicktime movies. They can also drain your labtop battery fast.

Good luck getting season 3. There was a music rights issue and it's been pulled from the shelves. It's starting to fetch big bucks on eBay.

Seems to still be listed at various retailers currently. When did it go OOP?
