I followed the initial Power Search instructions given at the beginning of this thread, added Monty Python Live to my cart....once i got to the shopping cart screen, i modified the URL to include the product number (5365503) of the Flying Circus Mega-Set. I then deleted the 1st item from my cart and was able to complete the order and i just recieved my order confirmation email.

I'm not holding my breath, I was just bored enough to find a backdoor to ordering this set and though I may as well give it a shot.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Used your method and just got a shipping notice today!

NICE! I've always wanted this set, but was hesitant at the price point it's been at.

I do think this deal is officially dead now.

I should've ordered this back when I first read about it but I didn't, so I tried the product number method and it went through. We'll see if I get a shipping notice. If not I'll wait for the next round.

My Monty Python megaset shipped yesterday, but the Hammer House of Horror did not because it is on backorder. Luckily, it is guaranteed to be sent within 60 days (!).

I received this message today:

"The following item(s) you ordered on 05/20/2006 are sold out and
will not be shipped:

5246172 1 Complete Hammer House of Horror *DVD 19.95

You do not have any items waiting to ship on this order."

That is a real bummer.

I got the Hammer set yesterday in the mail (along with an Avengers set and Benny Hill). I feel truly lucky but I'm sorry to hear that it's now sold out for others. My thanks to OP.

My Monty Python set arrived today. How refreshing to receive a dvd set in an actual box with styrofoam popcorn for padding. I wish other online retailers (i.e. Amazon, DDD, Overstock, etc...) did this as a rule of thumb for all of their dvd orders. Props to Hamilton Books and to the OP!

Look at the top post of this page (page 4) for instructions on how to find it. I just ordered last night and it shipped today so you may still be able to get it. Good luck!

Received mine yesterday. The packaging from HamiltonBooks was outstanding, as noted above ... huge box with foam popcorn.

Thank you for the great deal!

My Kids in the Hall collections showed up yesterday, along with a newspaper-type Hamilton Bookseller catalogue.

I must be missing out on this Hammer Horror - what is it?

Hammer House of Horror was a limited, 13 episode British television series co-produced Hammer Films in 1980, a few years after they had completed their last theatrical release. Some of the production people (Roy Skeggs) and creative people (directors Peter Sasdy and Alan Gibson, and even the great Peter Cushing) from the films were involved in the television series. Here’s the link to IMDB.com for more information . . .

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0129683/

While most of Hammer's theatrical horror releases were period pieces, the TV series was modern day (probably to keep it within budget).

I noticed that my apt number didn't show in my address on my shipping confirmation. So I'm wondering, those who received your sets, how did it arrive? USPS? That would be great as the mailman knows who I am.

Thanks
