If only they'd held this until July when the new Doctor Who comes out on DVD.

Oh well, but I've already given DDD too much money this month between the Criterion, Mother's Day, and Paramount sales.

Though I suppose if my tax refund comes through in time, I could buy some Red Dwarf DVDs ....

Price is awfully high for the Office complete set ... must be more popular since the US show aired. Regular price used to be $35ish.

What, no love for Elizabeth R, priced at only $37?
(Actually, I guess that’s kind of appropriate...)

Great price on their recent 6-disc Dickens and Austen collections, at a touch over $30 each. The Oscar Wilde one too is cheaper than I saw it at Costco earlier this week.

But why is Yes, Prime Minister more expensive than Yes, Minister when the latter has an RRP of $20 more?

Agreed. Although I bought mine individually. I also had the pleasure of meeting Stephen Moffat and talking to him for quite some time. And he signed my artwork from each DVD. Sorry, I had to brag. I simply love this show...

Some good prices. Just a heads up on the Complete Fawlty Towers and Father Ted can be had as introductory selections to the Columbiahouse TV on DVD club.

Thanks.

I picked up the Blue Planet collection for $28. About 50% off. The Walking With Dinosaurs collection was also 50% off at $30(from $60).

Great deal.

They are all available seperately for $6.50 each as well.

Most likely because Series VIII has not been released yet and therefore is not part of the sale.

I wish this sale had held off just a few more weeks so I could pick up red dwarf VIII As it is, I picked up AbFab 5 (been wanting this for months and months but it was always so expensive), black books 1 which I just recently rented and enjoyed immensely, and red dwarf vii which I'd been holding out on to buy around the time VIII came out. Some others I probably would have enjoyed but I need to keep the spending down a bit...skipped the criterion sale already.

Have the old R2 3 disc set of the Blue Planet. Anybody know which disk in the new 4 disk set I should get? Doesn't seem to be disk number 4.

Interesting....BlackAdder is showing as a 'Price Drop' now....is it a sale if the price is going to drop in three days anyway?

I've been waiting for a sale on The Office Complete set but $43 isn't much of a sale (Amazon has it at $44.86, and I have a rewards certificate worth $25). Should I just do that, or is it cheap enough somewhere else to save the cert?

As with the Buena Vista one earlier this month, DDD has ended the BBC Video sale early. (Their loss; my wallet's gain.)

pizzamousechips: The Complete Office is been raised to $47.17 at DDD, so you should go with Amazon or wait (with hope) for the next 20% off sale.

Individual series are now back up to $14.51; entire series is $75.61... so the "price drop" logo during the sale was definitely misleading.
