Several of the titles I was interested in were already several $1's cheaper at DDD. I'll wait for the you know what and get them then...

Demon Hunter
All Souls Day
Day of the Dead II: Contagium (special emphasis on this one)

Unless you desperately have to have one of these items NOW, wait until October. IIRC, DDD and Amazon both had a great Anchor Bay sale last October. I picked up all 4 fright packs for something like $16 and change each.

As a matter of fact, as John*D said, many of these titles are cheaper at DDD right now. I spot-checked about 10 titles, and the only thing that was cheaper at Amazon was the Masters of Horror 2-pack, which is about a dollar cheaper than DDD... but then Amazon charges shipping unless you order more than $25 worth of stuff, whereas DDD gives free shipping.

Not trying to crap on your post, though, GameGenie, it's always appreciated when people share what they find... just letting people know that they should doublecheck w/ DDD before they order anything.

I'd just finished placing an order a couple of minutes ago so I figured I'd take advantage of the timing and get Bad Dreams and Visiting Hours.

"Demons", if nothing else, has a great soundtrack. Now, nothing like "Maximum Overdrive", but still...

Wish "The Church" was included in the sale.

Bad Dreams is a really good horror flick from the 80's thats finally out on DVD. If you haven't yet seen it - give it a play

The Church is in the "Devil Made Me Do It" Fright Pack which is included in the sale for $24.97. You can probably find the Fright Packs cheaper elsewhere though.

I've got $30 in credit at Amazon so I'll probably pick up a few things from this sale.

I totally agree. Very underrated, little seen film. I picked it up (before, not in this sale) to finally replace my old full screen LD.

Demons 2 is now showing up as being unavailable (Demons is listed as available in 1-3 weeks). When I ordered them, they were listed as shipping in 24 hrs., and they still haven't shipped yet.

Getting a little nervous. I've delayed getting both of these for way too long.

I ordered a copy of Demons as well, among other things. It still said ships in 24 hours when I ordered it so I hope it ships tomorrow. Maybe that's not how it works?
