When did you guys pre-ordered from Amazon? I ordered mine on May 7, and they won't ship til 5/29 which is memorial day. The estimated delivery date is 6/5~6/9. This is ridiculous.

I order my copy Sunday night and it arrived this morning thanks to the Amazon Prime free trial.

Same here. I know how you feel! It sucks that people had theirs shipped on Friday and get it before mine even ships!

Same, mine is scheduled for 5/30 in fact. It's never done this before. Amazon is losing it.

All I can say about Amazon is that I've gotten things from them way sooner than their predicted dates.

I pre-ordered from Amazon on May 15 (along with the 2-disc KOH to put the order over $25 for free standard shipping). Estimated shipping date was May 28, and estimated delivery date was June 1-2.

It shipped last Sunday, the 21st, and I got it Monday the 22nd! Sorry not everyone has this luck, but I think they deliberately pad their shipping estimates. (plus, I think I live close to a shipping hub or whatever they are called.)

Now, if I just had time to watch the thing...

I got mine from Overstock yesterday. Yes, that damn packing job crushed the box somewhat and bent the corners. I should've just paid the extra three bucks to get it from Amazon.

Add me to the list of people freaking out thinking the discs were scratched, glued wrong, and had bubbles on them.

My order date was April 10 along with the new Pearl Jam album. Ship date 5/23. Estimated arrival date, 6/1.

I ordered Kingdom of Heaven and Van Helsing HD-DVD on May 16th through Target.com, which is basically Amazon.com. It hasn't been shipped yet, but they do have the following on my order page. "We are preparing these items for shipment and this portion of your order cannot be canceled or changed."

Hope it arrives by the weekend.

I ordered a video game with a limited edition tin case from overstock and of course they morons shipped it in one of those crappy paper thin cardstock mailers. It was dinged, and bent a little.

I suggest if you got your KoH damaged in those mailers, contact Overstock and file a complain against their shipping department. I did. Perhaps with enough complains at their door they would do something about their crappy mailers.

Btw, I ordered my KoH from Amazon for this very reason. Amazon hasn't shipped mine yet.

We should all complain regardless! I do remember getting Cannibal Holocaust from them in one of those. I didn't think of it at the time though, haha.

My came from Amazon today, but the cardboard shipping box had a crease on three sides from being compressed during shipping. I cringed, opened it, and lo and behold, the KOH box was creased on two sides as feared. It makes no sense at all why sometimes you get free shipping from Amazon and receive the item in an actual box with padding/bubblewrap, and sometimes you pay for shipping as I did here, and get a compressed shipping box with no padding (and it's a cardboard dvd case to boot). Oxymoronic if you ask me. I'll be requesting another tonight from Amazon, and will be ranting to their rep regarding this assinine shipping method. I'll get off my soapbox now...

Got mine about 30 minutes ago, it was in good condition, though I pre-ordered it while I was on the Amazon Prime free trial...

Well my copy arrived today from Overstock in an unpadded cardboard envelope. Suffice to say the post office appears to have had great pleasure in seeing how much compaction the contents could undergo and the DVD box is a total waste.

I'm happy to report that the envelope faired much better.

Hopefully, your set gets better treatment.

Got mine from amazon today, perfect shape...am getting towering inferno/poseiden adventure tomorrow...

Amazon sent me an email saying it shipped on Sunday. I don't know what post office is open on Sundays but this is the 3rd time I've had something ship like that. Anyhoo, yesterday on the tracking page it said "delivery attempted; not home" or something of the sort. Which is weird because they usually just leave things on the porch. And if not then I get a slip telling me to pick it up. I didn't get a slip but today they did leave it on the porch.

I placed the order on April 8th and got the King Kong Production Diaries to get the free shipping. Usually when I pre-order with free shipping it doesn't ship until almost a week after release date. This is the first time I've pre-ordered with Amazon's free shipping and gotten it on time.

I got mine today too. Watch it this weekend
