Do you need a code to get the 25% off?

No. It's hardcoded across the site. You'll notice the prices in red reflect the discounted sale price.

On average, is their stock in good condition - and w/ slipcovers, inserts, etc?

I believe they share the same stock with wherehouse.com and my experience is their stuff is 6 on a ten point scale. My last shipment from wherehouse.com had all missing inserts and one loose in case and scratched. But they are good at refunds and returns.

They have good prices, but they are all used dvds. I'm also wondering about the condition of the dvds. Shipping is not bad, but the site says they also charge sales tax, so I don't know if its worth it. Where I live, the sales tax is 0.08%, so for every ten dollars I spend, the tax is 80 cents. I currently have 100.00 in merchandise in my cart, so I will be charged another 8.00 for tax.

I ordered Sixth Sense Vista Series from SecondSpin and it arrived in excellent condition. So I'm willing to give them another chance.

I'm sorry but these prices don't reflect a 25% discount. I checked several titles I've had my eyes on and they are still the same price. There must be a code or am I missing something here.

Yeah I've ordored a bunch of stuff from them online over the years and I've never been diappointed. I thought they jsut had the same stock as their B&M stores? I didn't know they were with wherehouse.

For anyone that's interested in Criterions, they don't all have the "Criterion" tag in their title. I found a couple of the ones I didn't have by looking up the individual titles. Unfortunately, I don't have the money right now, and the price is about even with what you'd see at the DDD 20% sale anyways.

If anyone wants to know what titles I've found, I'll let the first person that emails me know the titles. That way, some lurker doesn't snag them.

A couple people are mentioning B&M stores, are they sure those stores are related to secondspin.com? I never heard of them having B&M stores.

I've had mixed experience with ordering here. Their quality standards for what they sell seem to be less than their standards for what they'll buy/trade for. However, with any used product your success will be hit and miss.

You could just buy these at deepdiscountdvd new for about the same price for some dvds.
