I don't know about Mililani, but the Ke'eaumoku St. store had a display (which was all picked-over) in the DVD/CD area. I bet if you go tomorrow it'll either be re-stocked or almost barren.

I managed to pick up Hud, which was the only title that was even marginally interesting to me.

Maybe half of the listed Sony/Columbia titles have shown up at the FairLakes, VA store. They were mixed in with $4.88 Warner pallet.

My Supercenter had none of the titles in the first two posts. I did buy Contact special edition and almost picked up NL's European Vacation. The rest were junk or kids anime.

Went all around searching my walmarts and they only had the warner displays, so no glory for me, that's all I was looking for.

The Burke WM just seemed to have WB and New Line titles unless the Columbia/Sony titles were somewhere else While Fairlakes had mostly Columbia/Sony titles with a few WB. I think I saw about 10 Glory SE at the Fairlakes one.

FINALLY found Glory today. There were 3 copies I saw. I picked up 2 (one for my dad).

The display looked like they just put it out today.

They're still doing this display? I asked about it last week and the girl told me it was only up for a couple days (Fri. evening thru Sunday night, she said). I wonder if I can hold out hope that they'll bring it back.

The stand at mine was still there but they've added quite a few of the $5.50 dump din DVDs as well.

Well, the store I found these at today never had any of these titles at $4.88 before. I've been checking the last few weeks.

Probably not ... it was OK ... but I doubt if I will watch it again ... you can probably rent it for less ... if you are curious ...

OTOH, if you can find a copy of A Simple Plan in the $5.50 bin ... I highly recommend it ... especially if you liked Fargo ...

Another vote for A Simple Plan. Tremendously under-rated flick. Bill Paxton seems to be the king of under-appreciated gems...Frailty and One False Move are both in the $5 bin too and are also great (although the a/v quality on OFM leaves a lot to be desired).

The Keeaumoku branch had the Columbia $4.88 display up this morning.

*edit* 3/2 - the same display had been repriced to $5.50 this morning.

What I remember seeing:

Against All Odds
Red Rock West
Scenes of the Crime
So I Married an Axe Murderer
Riding in Cars with Boys
Vampires: Los Muertos
Anatomy 2
No Good Deed (FS)
Identity
What Planet are you From?
Mute Witness
Shampoo
Mrs. Winterbourne
Laurel Canyon
Alien Hunter
Random Hearts
Eye See You

No sign of "Glory".

And I FINALLY found the version of "Bite the Bullet" which includes WS in the $5.50 bin.

I liked Laurel Canyon. Better than I liked Simple Plan. So it's a matter of taste. But for me, LC was THE movie that stuck out as a must buy in that set of $4.88 titles.

WTF?! - Just checked out Wal-Mart Burke, VA / Fair Lakes, VA... No sign of either display and nothing in the dump bins (both of which are still actual bins). If anyone knows of any still active displays in the Northern Virginia area, please contact me:

I'm surprised FairLakes already took the display down. Maybe they moved it to a different part of the store. Anyways, the WalMart in Manassas off of Liberia Ave had the display this past weekend.

You get Kate Beckinsale in a semi three way/lesbo action as well as a pot smoking music producer mom. So if you like any of that stuff then yes.
