Awesome, thanks OP. Just snagged 24 seasons 2-4 for $64.91 shipped after signing up for the Amazon Visa with $30 off first purchase. I'll just pay the bill and cancel the card.

Do any of the Simpsons sets have the 'buy two seasons and save $10 deal'?

I once thought as you did. Now my Amazon card has over $500 on it.

Heh, no I will cancel. I hate credit cards with a passion but hey, free $30 I'll take it. I've done this twice now.

Make sure to check the gold box before ordering. I had 2 different seasons of Family Guy, one of Futurama, and Simpsons season 7 show up. I saved an extra $1.xx on the Simpsons.

I didn't see it noted, but both seasons of Arrested Development are 45% off. Furthermore, if you buy both, you get an additional $10 off instantly (no promo code needed).

Total for both seasons: $33.94

Thanks for the tip. I just checked mine and it had both versions of The Simpsons S7 and I was able to save $1.xx on Family Guy Vol. 3.

OK, my wife compromised and I ended up just getting 24 season 2 for now. With my rewards certificate, it came to $9.97.

Anyone know the criteria for the extra $10 off these seasons? It shows up in the checkout as "Best Value Savings". I got one to work for King of the Hill S4 & S5.

Never mind. I see the notation on the products' page now. Didn't see it at first.

Too bad this sale doesn't include more titles/selections like the 1st go-around of the sale did???

I picked up King of the Hill seasons 2 - 5.

I saved $45 if I would have bought them all at DDD. Thanks OP!

Very odd. I can't seem to find a trace of the $10 discount on any of the product pages for 24, Simpsons, or Shield. Normally, they just show up under something like "Buy Both and Save". But I can't find this feature anywhere on the site (books, CDs, etc.). Any ideas? Thanks!

weird i can't find ANY 'best values' combos or whatever they call them either; the $5 and $10 discounts were there yesterday. maybe that part of this promotion ended 1/31.......

EDIT: okay looks like the combos discounts are still available ,they just don't announce them. you have to ADD TO CART the two items, and they will even still show in cart as like $35 & $35, but "subtotal" reads: "$60" - don't know why they made it less user-friendly/informative.

For 24, it showed up under Season 3 for me that I could "Buy Both and Save" with season 4 also.

The best value links have disappeared for me as well. However, if you add KOTH 4 & KOTH 5 to your cart, it still totals up to $31.94.

I'm considering getting seasons 6 and 7 of The Simpsons with this deal. Does anyone know how long this deal is for? I want to wait till Friday to order them since I'm sure I'll be getting my refund check from financial aid by then. So I hope the discount is still going on then!

You can never be certain when Amazon will kill a deal. However, it appears that this sale started just yesterday. I think it's reasonable to assume that the sale will still be going come Friday.

Amazon sales die through a process akin to leprosy--certain titles just drop off randomly and with no warning. Don't expect all included titles to be at the listed prices for very long--a few prices may go up, and a few titles may vanish from the sale altogether.

Why not order what you want, discounted, with another item that is up for pre-order. When you get your refund check, cancel the pre-order item. You shouldn't be charged until the order ships.
