You are right, especially with BBY and CC who try to be competitive and do pricematching. However, I have a bunch of Suncoast and Borders gift cards that I need to use up. At those 2 stores the new release price (at Suncoast at least) is typically $19.99, and if you wait beyond the first couple weeks the price jumps to $22.99 or worse and usually stays there for half a year or more because they don't have the special sales that BBY and CC do. So for those who have credit to use up at these 2 stores, buying on release week seems to be the better choice. I have to find $40 at Borders or Amazon in the next week or my older gift card expires, and there's nothing I want to buy. I have learned not to buy new release at BBY and CC. $10 is the highest price I'll pay, and I have trouble paying $10 or even $7.50.

I'll be glad when I use up those gift cards. I tell people to get me BBY gift cards because the same amount of money goes further, but some people do not listen around Christmas, so you usually pay at least a 25% penalty on DVDs if you get a Suncoast or Borders gift card instead.

Does anyone know if the Bill Murray 3-pack with Stripes, Ghostbusters, and Groundhog Day contains the Ghostbusters 1 & 2 edition or just the old single DVD of Ghostbusters? Also, are they shrinkwrapped individually?

So does the Final Desitination DVD come with both 1 and 2 for 14.99? If so that with the free movie ticket seems like a good deal. I was probably going to see this anyways.

I totally agree. All of the titles below are now 2 for $20 and I paid anywhere from $14.99-19.99 on release day.

Team America World Police (Rated / Unrated)
Land of the Dead (R-Rated / Unrated)
Dumb & Dumber: Unrated
Jaws: 30th Anniversary Edition
Best in Show
The Blues Brothers: 25th Anniversary Edition

I bought Ong Bak and Dumb & Dumber Unrated in the past two weeks. Do you think they will price match it with this 2 for $20 deal?

Usually has to be on the same receipt to qualify, if not just re-buy and return.

You shouldn't have a problem, even if they are on seperate receipts.

What's pictured is Silver and according to Amazon, it's what you are looking for.

I only have 2 of the upgraded Star Trek movies. I need to get the rest soon.

Both their 1st and 3rd albums are self titles. The first is commonly referred to as the blue album due to having a blue cover, and the third as the green album for the same logic.

Any chance you could check if any of the Samsung DLPs (42/50/56 inches) are on sale?
