Hey I'm pretty sure this is only applicable to California (As Rasputin Records isn't outside the state to the best of my knowledge), but I was at Rasputin Records the other day and it seemed a good deal of their Criterion dvds were readily available at DDD price or lower, which seems bizarre for a retail store. Wages of Fear was 19.99 as were Le Samourai, Eyes Without a Face, and Fighting Elegy. Not sale price either! Pretty much the glut of new CC releases and most of the single discs were quite cheap. Also they are pretty liberal with their periodical /email coupons. Anyway if you are within distance of a store there are some deals to be had with the added bonus of immediate gratification.
